في الوقت الذي كان فيه بعض الذباب الحوثي يتشمّت بحال السعوديين العالقين في العواصم العالمية، كان هؤلاء العالقون يرفلون بالطمأنينة، محفوفين ومكفولين برعاية حكومة بلادهم أينما تواجدوا، بانتظار ترتيبات عودتهم إلى بلادهم. هذه العناية التي تلتزم بها الحكومة السعودية تجاه مواطنيها أوقات الأزمات، تمثل جوهر العلاقة بين الدولة والمجتمع، وتقدم النموذج الذي يحلم به مثل هذا الحوثي، الغارق في تعاسة عيشه أو غربته !
وكنت أحد هؤلاء المواطنين الذين تلقوا إشعارات بالسكن والإعاشة في أحد الفنادق الممتازة، رغم إبدائي عدم الحاجة إلى تأمين السكن، لكنه شعور المسؤولية لدى سفارة المملكة، بتوجيهات الدولة لرعاية المواطنين، سواء احتاجوا إلى ذلك أو كانوا في غنى عنه. إنه سخاء دولة تجاه مواطنيها، وعقيدة رخاء تلتزم بها الدولة تجاه مجتمعها، الذي عاش ويعيش بكل طمأنينة ورفاهية، رغم كل الأزمات التي مرّت والعواصف التي عصفت، سواء كانت الحروب الإقليمية أو الأوبئة العالمية، وما قدمته الدولة خلال أزمة كورونا التي عطّلت الحياة في العالم من عناية بالمواطنين في الداخل والخارج ليس ببعيد !
لا تكشف لنا هذه الأزمات معدن قيادتنا فحسب، بل تكشف لنا العدو من الصديق. ففي الوقت الذي تبرز فيه مواقف الحكومات والشعوب الشقيقة والصديقة، تعرّي لنا اللئام من أهل الخبث والخبائث. وإذا كانت مشاعر أشقائنا وإخوتنا في دول الخليج تظهر بشكل فطري في مثل هذه الأزمات، فإن المواقف المشرفة من كثير من الأشقاء والأصدقاء في الدول العربية والإسلامية والصديقة تعكس الأثر الطيب للعلاقات والمواقف المشرفة لحكومتنا وشعوبنا تجاه هذه الدول وشعوبها. فالسعودية وشقيقاتها دول الخليج العربية لم تقدم للعالم سوى الخير والعطاء، وكل ما يجسد معاني الإنسانية، في الوقت الذي يقدم فيه الخصوم الشر والدمار والإرهاب !
باختصار.. الحمد لله على نعمة الانتماء لهذا البلد العظيم !
At a time when some Houthi flies were gloating over the situation of Saudis stranded in global capitals, those stranded individuals were basking in reassurance, surrounded and supported by their government’s care wherever they were, waiting for arrangements to return to their homeland. This care that the Saudi government commits to towards its citizens during crises represents the essence of the relationship between the state and society, and provides the model that such a Houthi, drowning in the misery of his existence or exile, dreams of!
I was one of those citizens who received notifications for accommodation and sustenance in one of the excellent hotels, despite my expressing that I did not need housing. However, it is the sense of responsibility of the Kingdom’s embassy, guided by the state’s directives to care for its citizens, whether they needed it or not. It is the generosity of a state towards its citizens, and a doctrine of prosperity that the state commits to towards its community, which has lived and continues to live in reassurance and luxury, despite all the crises that have passed and the storms that have swept through, whether they were regional wars or global pandemics, and what the state provided during the Corona crisis that disrupted life worldwide in terms of care for citizens both inside and outside is not far off!
These crises reveal not only the true nature of our leadership but also distinguish the enemy from the friend. While the positions of brotherly and friendly governments and peoples emerge, they expose the vile among those with malice and wickedness. If the feelings of our brothers and siblings in the Gulf countries manifest instinctively during such crises, the honorable positions of many brothers and friends in Arab, Islamic, and friendly countries reflect the positive impact of the relationships and honorable stances of our government and our peoples towards these countries and their peoples. Saudi Arabia and its Gulf Arab sisters have offered the world nothing but goodness and generosity, embodying the meanings of humanity, while adversaries provide evil, destruction, and terrorism!
In short… thank God for the blessing of belonging to this great country!
