أظهرت بيانات مكتب العمل الألماني الصادرة أمس (الجمعة) انخفاضاً غير متوقع في عدد العاطلين عن العمل خلال مايو، رغم تحذيرات من أن هذا التراجع يعود إلى عوامل مؤقتة وليس إلى تحسن فعلي في سوق العمل.
وبحسب البيانات المعدلة موسمياً، انخفض عدد العاطلين عن العمل بمقدار 12 ألف شخص، في حين كانت توقعات المحللين تشير إلى زيادة بمقدار 10 آلاف، وفقا لوكالات إعلامية غربية.
وبلغ إجمالي عدد العاطلين عن العمل، قبل التعديل الموسمي، 2.95 مليون شخص، لينخفض بذلك إلى أقل من 3 ملايين لأول مرة منذ أربعة أشهر.
وأرجع مكتب العمل الألماني هذا الانخفاض إلى تأثير معاكس لبيانات أبريل الضعيفة، مشيراً إلى أن الأرقام لا تعكس تحسناً قوياً في الاقتصاد.
وسجل معدل البطالة موسمياً 6.3% خلال مايو، بانخفاض قدره 0.1 نقطة مئوية مقارنة بالشهر السابق.
وقالت رئيسة مكتب العمل أندريا ناليس: «إن الانتعاش الاقتصادي الربيعي لم يكتسب زخماً حقيقياً هذا العام، رغم تراجع معدل البطالة».
Data from the German Labor Office released yesterday (Friday) showed an unexpected decline in the number of unemployed individuals during May, despite warnings that this decrease is due to temporary factors and not a real improvement in the labor market.
According to seasonally adjusted data, the number of unemployed decreased by 12,000 people, while analysts had predicted an increase of 10,000, according to Western media outlets.
The total number of unemployed, before seasonal adjustment, reached 2.95 million people, thus falling below 3 million for the first time in four months.
The German Labor Office attributed this decline to a counter effect from the weak April data, noting that the figures do not reflect a strong improvement in the economy.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate recorded 6.3% during May, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.
Andrea Nahles, the head of the Labor Office, stated: “The spring economic recovery has not gained real momentum this year, despite the decrease in the unemployment rate.”
