صعّدت الحكومة الإسرائيلية لهجتها التهديدية تجاه لبنان، حيث أكد وزير الدفاع يسرائيل كاتس استمرار العمليات العسكرية «بقوة» ضد أي تهديد في الأراضي اللبنانية، بينما أعلن وزير الأمن القومي إيتمار بن غفير خططاً لتشجيع الاستيطان الإسرائيلي داخل لبنان.
جاءت التصريحات في وقت تشهد فيه الحدود الجنوبية للبنان توتراً مستمراً، رغم وقف إطلاق النار، حيث قُتل جندي إسرائيلي في جنوب لبنان أمس (الخميس).
وقال وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس، الجمعة، في منشور على منصة «إكس» أثناء نعيه الرقيب نيغيف داغان (20 عاماً) من لواء غولاني، الذي قُتل جراء قذيفة mortar أطلقتها قوات حزب الله: «إسرائيل ستواصل العمل بقوة ضد أي تهديد حتى تحقيق جميع أهداف الحرب».
وأضاف كاتس: «أسعى إلى تعزيز عزيمة جنود جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي وقوات الأمن الذين ما زالوا يعملون في لبنان في هذه اللحظة، لحماية المجتمعات الشمالية وإعادة الأمن إلى سكانها».
بن غفير وخطط الاستيطان
في سياق متصل، أعلن الوزير اليميني إيتمار بن غفير، خلال احتفالات «يوم القدس» الذي يحيي ذكرى احتلال القدس الشرقية عام 1967، خططاً إسرائيلية تشمل: تشجيع الاستيطان الإسرائيلي داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، وتشجيع تهجير الفلسطينيين من قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية التي يسميها «يهودا والسامرة».
وقال بن غفير: «لدينا أيضاً خطط لتشجيع الهجرة من غزة ويهودا والسامرة»، معبراً عن رغبته الصريحة في إقامة مستوطنات إسرائيلية في لبنان.
عنف إسرائيلي ممنهج في لبنان
يأتي هذا التصعيد اللفظي في خضم توتر أمني مستمر على الحدود اللبنانية-الإسرائيلية منذ مارس الماضي، حيث اندلعت مواجهات عنيفة بين الجيش الإسرائيلي ومليشيا حزب الله أسفرت عن آلاف القتلى والجرحى والنازحين.
ورغم إعلان وقف إطلاق نار مؤقت، تستمر الخروقات والمناوشات، مع سيطرة إسرائيلية على مناطق عازلة في جنوب لبنان.
وتُعرف تصريحات بن غفير بتطرفها، حيث سبق له الدعوة مراراً إلى توسيع الاستيطان في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة وتهجير سكانها، أما كاتس فيعكس موقفاً رسمياً أكثر تركيزاً على الجانب العسكري والأمني.
The Israeli government has escalated its threatening rhetoric towards Lebanon, with Defense Minister Israel Katz confirming the continuation of military operations “with force” against any threat in Lebanese territory, while National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced plans to encourage Israeli settlement within Lebanon.
The statements came at a time when the southern borders of Lebanon are experiencing ongoing tension, despite a ceasefire, as an Israeli soldier was killed in southern Lebanon yesterday (Thursday).
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Friday in a post on the “X” platform while mourning Sergeant Negev Dagan (20 years old) from the Golani Brigade, who was killed by a mortar shell fired by Hezbollah: “Israel will continue to act forcefully against any threat until all war objectives are achieved.”
Katz added: “I seek to strengthen the resolve of the Israel Defense Forces soldiers and security forces who are still operating in Lebanon at this moment, to protect the northern communities and restore security to their residents.”
Ben Gvir and Settlement Plans
In a related context, right-wing Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced during the “Jerusalem Day” celebrations, which commemorate the occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967, Israeli plans that include: encouraging Israeli settlement within Lebanese territories and promoting the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which he refers to as “Judea and Samaria.”
Ben Gvir stated: “We also have plans to encourage immigration from Gaza and Judea and Samaria,” expressing his explicit desire to establish Israeli settlements in Lebanon.
Systematic Israeli Violence in Lebanon
This verbal escalation comes amid ongoing security tensions along the Lebanese-Israeli border since last March, where violent confrontations between the Israeli army and Hezbollah militia have resulted in thousands of deaths, injuries, and displaced persons.
Despite the announcement of a temporary ceasefire, violations and skirmishes continue, with Israeli control over buffer zones in southern Lebanon.
Ben Gvir’s statements are known for their extremism, as he has repeatedly called for the expansion of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and the displacement of their residents, while Katz reflects a more official stance focused on military and security aspects.
