وصفت بأكبر الهجمات بالطائرات المسيرة على روسيا، شنت أوكرانيا اليوم (الخميس) هجوماً جوياً مكثفاً على مصفاة نفط رئيسية في موسكو للمرة الثانية خلال أسبوع، مما أدى إلى تعطيل الرحلات الجوية التجارية في مطارات موسكو.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام روسية أن ألسنة اللهب وأعمدة الدخان تصاعدت فوق حي كابوتنيا المكتظ بالسكان جنوب شرق البلاد، حيث تقع مصفاة النفط التي تزود العاصمة بالوقود.
وقال عمدة موسكو، سيرجي سوبيانين: «تواصل قوات الدفاع الجوي صد هجوم واسع النطاق، وقد تمكنت عدة طائرات مسيرة من الوصول إلى مصفاة النفط في موسكو»، مضيفاً أن مركزاً تجارياً لحقت به أضرار طفيفة.
وأوضح سوبيانين أن 180 طائرة أُسقطت في محيط موسكو وحدها، في حين ذكرت وكالة «تاس» للأنباء، أن الهجوم على موسكو يُعد من أكبر الهجمات هذا العام.
بدورها، أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الروسية إسقاط 555 طائرة مسيرة في أنحاء البلاد.
من جهة أخرى، أعلنت موسكو تعليق الرحلات الجوية في جميع مطاراتها، وأُغلق الطريق السريع المحيط بالعاصمة بالقرب من المصفاة، كما أعلن مطار شيريميتيفو، أكثر مطارات موسكو ازدحاماً، الإخلاء.
في المقابل، قال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي إن الهجوم على موسكو يأتي ضمن جهود أوكرانيا لإجبار الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين على الجلوس إلى طاولة المفاوضات، ووصفه بـ«الرد المبرر» على الهجمات الروسية على المدن والمجتمعات الأوكرانية.
وكتب زيلينسكي على حسابه في «إكس»: «في الليلة الماضية، وصلت عقوباتنا بعيدة المدى مرة أخرى إلى منطقة موسكو، للمرة الثانية هذا الأسبوع، تعرضت مصفاة نفط موسكو للضرب، كما تم استهداف أهداف في منطقة روستوف، هذا رد مبرر تماماً على الهجمات الروسية على مدننا ومجتمعاتنا، ونتيجة مهمة أخرى لعمل مقاتلينا ضد المنشآت التي تدعم آلة الحرب الروسية».
وأضاف: «في الأيام الأخيرة، لاحظ جميع شركائنا الدقة والفعالية لضرباتنا متوسطة المدى وعقوباتنا بعيدة المدى وحان الوقت لإنهاء الحرب، ويجب على روسيا اتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة في الدبلوماسية».
وكان زيلينسكي صرح أمس، أنه أجرى مكالمة تنسيقية مهمة مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب والرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، والتي قد تُحدث تغييراً جوهرياً.
وأوضح زيلينسكي أن بلاده حصلت على تعهدات رئيسية بتقديم المزيد من الدعم من قادة العالم المشاركين في قمة مجموعة السبع في فرنسا، بمن فيهم الولايات المتحدة.
وفي سياق آخر، ذكرت وسائل إعلام غربية أن روسيا أطلقت من جانبها صواريخ على كييف، للمرة الثانية هذا الأسبوع، عقب هجوم ألحق أضراراً بدير كييف التاريخي الذي يعود تاريخه إلى ألف عام، والذي أثار إدانة دولية واسعة.
من جهة أخرى، ذكر مسؤولون روس أن غارة جوية أوكرانية بطائرة مسيرة أسفرت عن مقتل رجل كان داخل سيارته في منطقة بيلجورود الحدودية، كما أسفر هجوم مماثل عن مقتل شخص واشتعال حريق في منشأتين تجاريتين في منطقة روستوف الجنوبية.
Described as the largest drone attacks on Russia, Ukraine launched an intensive aerial assault today (Thursday) on a major oil refinery in Moscow for the second time in a week, disrupting commercial flights at Moscow airports.
Russian media reported that flames and columns of smoke rose above the densely populated Kapotnya neighborhood in the southeast of the country, where the oil refinery that supplies fuel to the capital is located.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said, “Air defense forces continue to repel a large-scale attack, and several drones managed to reach the oil refinery in Moscow,” adding that a shopping center sustained minor damage.
Sobyanin clarified that 180 drones were shot down in the vicinity of Moscow alone, while the TASS news agency reported that the attack on Moscow is considered one of the largest attacks this year.
For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 555 drones across the country.
On another note, Moscow announced the suspension of flights at all its airports, and the highway surrounding the capital near the refinery was closed. Sheremetyevo Airport, the busiest airport in Moscow, also announced an evacuation.
In contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the attack on Moscow is part of Ukraine’s efforts to force Russian President Vladimir Putin to sit at the negotiating table, describing it as a “justified response” to Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities.
Zelensky wrote on his account on “X”: “Last night, our long-range strikes reached the Moscow region again. For the second time this week, the Moscow oil refinery was hit, and targets in the Rostov region were also targeted. This is a completely justified response to Russian attacks on our cities and communities, and another significant outcome of our fighters’ actions against facilities that support the Russian war machine.”
He added: “In recent days, all our partners have noticed the precision and effectiveness of our medium-range strikes and long-range sanctions. It is time to end the war, and Russia must take the necessary steps in diplomacy.”
Zelensky stated yesterday that he had an important coordinating call with U.S. President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, which could lead to a substantial change.
Zelensky explained that his country received key commitments for more support from world leaders participating in the G7 summit in France, including the United States.
In another context, Western media reported that Russia launched missiles at Kyiv for the second time this week, following an attack that damaged the historic Kyiv Monastery, which dates back a thousand years, sparking widespread international condemnation.
On the other hand, Russian officials reported that a Ukrainian drone strike resulted in the death of a man who was inside his car in the Belgorod border region, while a similar attack resulted in one person’s death and a fire at two commercial facilities in the southern Rostov region.
