شهدت رحلة جوية تابعة لشركة (ويز إير) حالة استنفار أمني غير متوقعة، بعدما غيّرت الطائرة مسارها بشكل مفاجئ أثناء رحلتها من لندن إلى صوفيا، قبل أن تهبط في العاصمة المجرية بودابست وسط إجراءات أمنية مشددة.
وكانت الطائرة من طراز (إيرباص A321neo) تحلّق فوق أجواء البوسنة والهرسك عندما اتُخذ قرار تحويل مسارها، لتصل إلى مطار بودابست وتهبط بسلام عند الساعة 12:08 ظهرًا بالتوقيت المحلي.
وفور وصولها، كانت فرق الإطفاء والطوارئ بانتظارها، فيما جرى توجيه الطائرة إلى منطقة مخصصة للفحص الأمني بعيدًا عن الحركة التشغيلية المعتادة داخل المطار.
وتداولت منصات ومجموعات متخصصة بمتابعة حركة الطيران معلومات تشير إلى احتمال ارتباط تغيير المسار بتهديد بوجود قنبلة على متن الرحلة، إلا أن هذه الأنباء لم تحظ بتأكيد رسمي حتى وقت نشر التقارير.
وبالتزامن مع الإجراءات الأمنية، أُغلق أحد مدرجي مطار بودابست مؤقتًا، بينما استُخدم المدرج الآخر لضمان استمرار حركة الملاحة الجوية دون توقف.
A flight operated by Wizz Air experienced an unexpected security alert after the plane suddenly changed its course during its journey from London to Sofia, before landing in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, amid heightened security measures.
The aircraft, an Airbus A321neo, was flying over the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina when the decision was made to divert its route, arriving at Budapest Airport and landing safely at 12:08 PM local time.
Upon arrival, fire and emergency teams were waiting for it, while the plane was directed to a designated area for security checks away from the usual operational traffic within the airport.
Platforms and groups specialized in tracking flight movements circulated information suggesting that the change of course might be related to a bomb threat on board the flight; however, this news had not received official confirmation by the time the reports were published.
Alongside the security measures, one runway at Budapest Airport was temporarily closed, while the other runway was used to ensure that air traffic continued without interruption.
