تُوِّج منتخب السنغال بلقب كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2025، بعد فوزه على نظيره المغربي بهدف قاتل، في المباراة النهائية التي جمعتهما أمس (الأحد) على ملعب الأمير مولاي عبدالله بالرباط.
هدف مُلغى للسنغال
وشهدت المباراة جدلاً تحكيمياً، بعدما ألغى حكم اللقاء هدفاً لصالح منتخب السنغال في الدقيقة 90+3، بداعي ارتكاب خطأ على الظهير الأيمن المغربي أشرف حكيمي، إذ أطلق صافرته قبل دخول الكرة إلى الشباك.
ركلة جزاء تشعل الاحتجاجات
وقبل ثوانٍ من نهاية الوقت الأصلي، احتسب الحكم ركلة جزاء لصالح منتخب المغرب بعد العودة إلى تقنية حكم الفيديو، إثر شد من اللاعب السنغالي الحاج ماليك ضيوف على المهاجم المغربي إبراهيم دياز.
واعترض لاعبو المنتخب السنغالي على القرار، وانسحبوا من أرضية الملعب احتجاجاً، قبل أن يتدخل نجم النصر ساديو ماني ويقنع زملاءه بالعودة لاستكمال اللقاء بعد توقف دام عدة دقائق.
ميندي يتصدى ويُبقي الأمل
وتقدم إبراهيم دياز لتنفيذ ركلة الجزاء، وسددها بطريقة «بانينكا» في منتصف المرمى، إلا أن حارس مرمى الأهلي إدوارد ميندي نجح في التصدي لها، ليُبقي آمال «أسود التيرانغا» قائمة.
هدف قاتل في الوقت الإضافي
واحتكم المنتخبان إلى شوطين إضافيين، وفي الدقيقة 94، نجح منتخب السنغال في تسجيل هدف الفوز، بعدما أطلق بابي جاي تسديدة قوية من على حدود منطقة الجزاء، سكنت الزاوية اليسرى لحارس الهلال ومنتخب المغرب ياسين بونو.
لقب ثانٍ للسنغال وغياب مغربي
ويُعد هذا التتويج هو الثاني في تاريخ منتخب السنغال بكأس الأمم الأفريقية، بعد لقبه الأول عام 2021 على حساب منتخب مصر، فيما يواصل منتخب المغرب غيابه عن منصة التتويج القارية لنحو 50 عاماً.
The Senegal national team was crowned the champion of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, after defeating their Moroccan counterpart with a last-minute goal, in the final match that took place yesterday (Sunday) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Disallowed Goal for Senegal
The match witnessed a refereeing controversy, as the referee disallowed a goal for the Senegal national team in the 90+3 minute, citing a foul committed on the Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi, as he blew his whistle before the ball entered the net.
Penalty Sparks Protests
Just seconds before the end of regular time, the referee awarded a penalty to the Moroccan team after reviewing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, following a pull by Senegalese player Haji Malik Diouf on Moroccan striker Ibrahim Diaz.
The Senegalese players protested the decision and withdrew from the pitch in protest, before star player Sadio Mané intervened and convinced his teammates to return to complete the match after a stoppage of several minutes.
Mendy Saves and Keeps Hope Alive
Ibrahim Diaz stepped up to take the penalty, executing it in a “Panenka” style to the center of the goal, but Al Ahly goalkeeper Edouard Mendy successfully saved it, keeping the hopes of the “Lions of Teranga” alive.
Last-Minute Goal in Extra Time
The two teams went into extra time, and in the 94th minute, the Senegal national team managed to score the winning goal, as Bamba Dieng unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, which found the left corner of the net past Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Second Title for Senegal and Moroccan Absence
This victory marks the second time in Senegal’s history that they have won the Africa Cup of Nations, following their first title in 2021 against the Egyptian national team, while the Moroccan team continues to be absent from the continental podium for nearly 50 years.
