في أجواءٍ مشحونة بالحماس والترقب، ووسط حضور إعلامي لافت، عُقد المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بالمدرب خيسوس، وذلك قبل المواجهة المرتقبة أمام النادي الأهلي ضمن منافسات الجولة (30) من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين، في مباراة تُعد واحدة من أبرز لقاءات الموسم.
وخلال المؤتمر، تحدث المدرب بصراحة وواقعية عن قوة المنافس، مشيرًا إلى أن التفوق الذي حققه الأهلي في بطولة النخبة خلال الفترات الأخيرة لم يأتِ من فراغ، بل كان نتيجة سياسة فنية وإدارية واضحة، أبرزها الاعتماد على 13 لاعبًا أجنبيًا، وهو ما عزز جودة الفريق ورفع مستوى التنافس داخليًا وخارجيًا.
