أدانت الجمهورية العربية السورية، اليوم الأحد، الهجوم الذي استهدف مطار الملك خالد الدولي في الرياض، معتبرة أن الاعتداء يشكّل انتهاكًا لسيادة المملكة وتهديدًا مباشرًا لأمنها واستقرارها ولسلامة المدنيين والمنشآت الحيوية والملاحة الجوية.
وجاء الموقف السوري في بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين، نقلته وكالة الأنباء السورية (سانا)، حيث عبّرت دمشق عن تعازيها لقيادة المملكة ولذوي الضحايا، متمنية الشفاء العاجل للمصابين، ومؤكدة تضامنها الكامل مع السعودية ووقوفها إلى جانبها في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات مشروعة لحماية أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها.
وشدّدت الوزارة على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن سوريا وأمن المنطقة بأسرها، داعية المجتمع الدولي إلى تحمل مسؤولياته واتخاذ خطوات جادة لوقف الاعتداءات التي تستهدف المنشآت المدنية وتهدد أمن الشعوب واستقرار المنطقة.
The Syrian Arab Republic condemned today, Sunday, the attack that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, considering that the assault constitutes a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as to the safety of civilians, vital facilities, and air navigation.
The Syrian position came in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), where Damascus expressed its condolences to the leadership of the Kingdom and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured, and reaffirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The ministry emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Syria and the entire region, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take serious steps to stop the attacks targeting civilian facilities and threatening the security of peoples and the stability of the region.
