The statements of the coaches of Al-Riyadh and Al-Fayha, Mauricio Dulak and Fabio Carille, varied after their teams drew 1-1 in the eighth round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League. Dulak confirmed that Al-Riyadh delivered a performance deserving of victory, while Carille expressed his regret over Al-Fayha’s missed opportunity to secure three points after taking the lead before Al-Riyadh equalized.
Dulak explained during the post-match press conference that his team performed well and showed a desire to win, but some details and a lack of luck prevented them from securing the three points, noting that the players exerted effort that deserved a better result.
The Al-Riyadh coach emphasized the importance of building on the performance his team displayed and working on improving the investment of opportunities and handling crucial details, which would enhance their chances of achieving positive results in upcoming matches.
For his part, Fabio Carille pointed out that Al-Fayha aimed to collect three points after delivering a good match and managing to take the lead, but they were unable to maintain their advantage until the end of the game, settling for just one point.
The Al-Fayha coach clarified that his team was looking to continue their positive results, but the draw deprived them of achieving their goal, stressing the importance of learning from the match’s events and continuing to work in preparation for the upcoming encounters.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with each team earning one point, a result that did not meet the coaches’ ambitions for a victory.
