في واقعة مأساوية فجرت موجة عارمة من الغضب والاستنكار في الشارع المصري، تحولت نزهة عابرة لفتاة في أرقى أحياء القاهرة الجديدة إلى ساحة اعتداء دموي، بعدما أطاح مقطع فيديو مسرب انتشر كالنار في الهشيم بمحاسب شاب، إثر تورطه في سحل وتشويه فتاة وسط الشارع لمجرد أنها تجرأت ورفضت خضوعها لمعاكسته وقررت الدفاع عن كرامتها.

The spark of the case, which quickly turned into a hot public opinion issue, began with a distress call posted by the victim’s sister, accompanied by a video documenting the catastrophe, announcing that her sister had suffered a brutal physical assault in the “New Cairo” area after she attempted to reprimand the young man and scold him for the offensive words he directed at her while she was walking in the street.
Bruises and Severe Beating
According to the statements of the devastated victim in the official reports, the situation escalated in a matter of seconds from a verbal altercation to a barbaric attack by the accused:
- Revenge for Rejection: The young man could not bear his pride being challenged by the girl, so he rushed towards her, delivering punches and blows to her body, resulting in scratches and bruises scattered across her body amidst the shock of passersby.
- Sudden Security Alert: As soon as the video was spotted on social media platforms, urgent security directives were issued, as the New Cairo Investigations managed to identify the victim, and during a well-coordinated ambush, the accused was arrested and taken, handcuffed, to the First Settlement Police Station.
A Suspicious Account
Before the investigative authorities, the accused, who works as an “accountant,” dropped a heavy surprise by attempting to escape the societal noose, as he completely denied intentionally harassing the girl, claiming that the crisis began with a “brief verbal disagreement” on the road and escalated into a “mutual brawl” and a physical altercation between both parties, admitting to the assault but justifying it as “self-defense.”
Between the account of the victimized princess who insists she paid the price for her dignity in an upscale area, and the accountant’s attempts to beautify his crime, the public prosecution is working on reviewing the surveillance cameras surrounding the incident site to confirm the moment the first spark ignited, leaving this incident an open wound that social media users demand the harshest punishment for the accused to deter anyone who violates the sanctity of the street and the bodies of women.
