ضرب زلزال بقوة مبدئية بلغت 5.5 درجة على مقياس ريختر، شرق اليابان اليوم، وتسبب في تعرض خدمات النقل في البلاد لبعض الاضطرابات، دون أن يصدر أي تحذير من حدوث موجات مد عاتية.
ونقلت وكالة أنباء «كيودو» اليابانية عن هيئة الأرصاد الجوية اليابانية، أن مركز الزلزال وقع على عمق نحو 50 كيلومتراً تحت سطح الأرض.
وسجل الزلزال أدنى مستوى له بواقع 5 درجات على مقياس شدة الزلازل الياباني في مقاطعتي جونما وسايتاما المجاورتين، و4 درجات في إيباراكي.
وتوقفت خدمات القطارات فائقة السرعة على خطي توهوكو وجويتسو شينكانسن.
An earthquake with an initial magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter scale struck eastern Japan today, causing some disruptions to transportation services in the country, with no tsunami warning issued.
The Japanese news agency “Kyodo” reported from the Japan Meteorological Agency that the epicenter of the earthquake was located about 50 kilometers below the surface of the earth.
The earthquake recorded its lowest level of 5 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in the neighboring prefectures of Gunma and Saitama, and 4 in Ibaraki.
Services on the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen high-speed train lines were suspended.
