عبرت سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر آل سعود عن سعادتها بأداء منتخبنا الوطني اﻷول لكرة القدم في لقائه اﻻفتتاحي أمام الأوروغواي والذي انتهى بالتعادل بهدف لكل منهما في مستهل مشواره في كأس العالم 2026.
وعبر حسابها الرسمي في منصة «إكس» كتبت اﻷميرة ريما: «يوم فخر لكرة القدم السعودية».
وقدمتها تهنئتها ﻷفراد منتخبنا الوطني بعد اﻷداء المميز، وقالت: «أهنئ المنتخب السعودي على بدايته القوية وتحقيقه تعادلًا مستحقًا بنتيجة 1-1 أمام أوروغواي في كأس العالم 2026».
كما أشادت بالروح العالية التي ظهر بها نجوم اﻷخضر، حيث قالت: «لقد عكست الروح القتالية والعزيمة والموهبة التي أظهرها اللاعبون على أرض الملعب طموح كرة القدم السعودية على الساحة العالمية، وجعلت المملكة فخورة بما قدمه المنتخب».
واختتمت اﻷميرة ريما تغريدتها قائلةً: «أتمنى التوفيق للصقور الخضر في اللقاءات القادمة».

She congratulated the members of our national team for their outstanding performance, saying: “I congratulate the Saudi team on their strong start and achieving a well-deserved draw of 1-1 against Uruguay in the 2026 World Cup.”
She also praised the high spirit displayed by the stars of the Green team, stating: “The fighting spirit, determination, and talent shown by the players on the field reflected the ambition of Saudi football on the global stage, and made the Kingdom proud of what the team has accomplished.”
Princess Reema concluded her tweet by saying: “I wish the Green Falcons success in their upcoming matches.”
