كشف موقع «أكسيوس» أن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب أبلغ رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو أن اتفاقاً مع إيران قد يُوقع خلال أيام، ما أثار مخاوف إسرائيلية من تسوية تنهي الحرب ولا تحقق أهدافها.
مفاجأة نتنياهو ومخاوف إسرائيل
وأفاد مسؤول أمريكي كبير بأن ترمب أبلغ نتنياهو خلال اتصال هاتفي: «هذا هو الاتفاق. إنه اتفاق رائع، وقد حان الوقت لإنهاء هذه الحرب».
ولفت الموقع إلى أن نتنياهو كان ينظر إلى الحرب منذ بدايتها باعتبارها فرصة قد تؤدي إلى «تغيير النظام في إيران»، وهو ما يجعل مسار التسوية الحالي بعيداً عن الأهداف التي كان يتطلع إليها.
وبحسب «أكسيوس»، فإن نتنياهو كان يخطط في وقت سابق من الأسبوع الحالي لتوجيه ضربات واسعة لمنشآت الطاقة والبنية التحتية الإيرانية، قبل أن يتدخل ترمب في اللحظات الأخيرة ويمنع تنفيذها.
ونقل الموقع عن مصدر أمريكي قوله إن «نتنياهو وجد نفسه خارج دائرة الاطلاع على تفاصيل المفاوضات، ما دفعه إلى التواصل مع حلفاء في واشنطن للحصول على معلومات بشأن المحادثات التي يقودها ترمب».
وأضاف أن منشور ترمب، الخميس، الذي تحدّث فيه عن التوصل إلى اتفاق، «فاجأ نتنياهو، فيما لم يُبدِ الأخير خلال المكالمة اللاحقة اعتراضاً قوياً على توجه الرئيس الأمريكي».
شكوك وتجنّب انتقاد ترمب
ونقل الموقع عن المسؤول قوله: أن «نتنياهو أبلغ ترمب بأنه يثق في قدرته على ضمان أن يعالج الاتفاق النهائي المخاوف المشتركة بشأن البرنامج النووي الإيراني»، وأردف: «من المحتمل أن نتنياهو أدرك أن الاتفاق بات وشيكاً وأنه لا يستطيع منعه».
وذكر «أكسيوس» أن نتنياهو ومسؤولين إسرائيليين آخرين يتجنبون انتقاد ترمب علناً، لكنهم «يبدون في أحاديثهم الخاصة قدراً كبيراً من الشكوك تجاه الاتفاق المرتقب».
وأوضح أن أحد أبرز المخاوف الإسرائيلية يتمثّل في أن توقع إيران الاتفاق ثم تطيل أمد المفاوضات اللاحقة من دون تقديم تنازلات نووية حقيقية، فيما تستفيد في الوقت نفسه من استئناف صادرات النفط وتراجع مخاطر الحرب.
تقييد التحرك العسكري في لبنان
وتحدّث الموقع أن إسرائيل تشعر بالقلق أيضاً من أن يؤدي الاتفاق، الذي يشمل وقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، إلى تقييد حرية تحركها العسكري ضد «حزب الله»، وإلزامها بالتشاور مع الإدارة الأمريكية بشأن أي ضربات مستقبلية.
وقال مسؤول أمريكي كبير إن واشنطن تدرك الشكوك الإسرائيلية، مضيفاً أن الولايات المتحدة لا تتوقع من إسرائيل أو أي دولة أخرى التخلي عن حقها في الدفاع عن نفسها، لكنها تتوقع من جميع الأطراف المشاركة في عملية السلام إذا تم التوصل إليها.
وأكد المسؤول أن البيت الأبيض واثق من أن إسرائيل ستنضم في نهاية المطاف إلى المسار الذي ترعاه واشنطن.
وأفصح «أكسيوس» أن مسؤولين إسرائيليين طلبوا، توضيحات من البيت الأبيض بعدما تحدثت وسائل إعلام إيرانية أن الاتفاق سيمنح طهران مليارات الدولارات فور توقيعه، مبيناً أن المسؤولين الأمريكيين أكدوا للإسرائيليين أن تلك التقارير لا تعكس مضمون الاتفاق بدقة، وأن طهران لن تحصل على أي مزايا قبل تنفيذ التزاماتها.
وقال المسؤول الأمريكي: «عندما يطلعون على الشروط الكاملة للاتفاق ويدركون أن على الإيرانيين تنفيذ التزاماتهم أولاً قبل الحصول على أي فوائد، فإنهم سيكونون أكثر ارتياحاً».
The website “Axios” revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that an agreement with Iran could be signed within days, raising Israeli concerns about a settlement that would end the war without achieving its objectives.
Netanyahu’s Surprise and Israeli Concerns
A senior U.S. official reported that Trump told Netanyahu during a phone call: “This is the deal. It’s a great deal, and it’s time to end this war.”
The site pointed out that Netanyahu has viewed the war from the beginning as an opportunity that could lead to “regime change in Iran,” which makes the current path of settlement far from the goals he was aiming for.
According to “Axios,” Netanyahu had planned earlier this week to carry out extensive strikes on Iranian energy and infrastructure facilities before Trump intervened at the last moment to prevent their execution.
The site quoted an American source saying that “Netanyahu found himself outside the loop on the details of the negotiations, prompting him to reach out to allies in Washington for information about the talks led by Trump.”
He added that Trump’s announcement on Thursday about reaching an agreement “surprised Netanyahu, while the latter did not express strong objections during the subsequent call with the U.S. president.”
Doubts and Avoiding Criticism of Trump
The site quoted the official saying: “Netanyahu informed Trump that he trusts his ability to ensure that the final agreement addresses the shared concerns regarding the Iranian nuclear program,” adding: “It is likely that Netanyahu realized that the agreement was imminent and that he could not prevent it.”
Axios mentioned that Netanyahu and other Israeli officials are avoiding publicly criticizing Trump, but they “express a significant amount of doubt in their private conversations regarding the anticipated agreement.”
It clarified that one of the main Israeli concerns is that Iran might sign the agreement and then prolong subsequent negotiations without making any real nuclear concessions, while simultaneously benefiting from the resumption of oil exports and reduced war risks.
Restricting Military Action in Lebanon
The site discussed that Israel is also concerned that the agreement, which includes a ceasefire in Lebanon, could restrict its military freedom of movement against “Hezbollah,” obliging it to consult with the U.S. administration regarding any future strikes.
A senior U.S. official stated that Washington is aware of Israeli doubts, adding that the United States does not expect Israel or any other country to give up its right to defend itself, but it expects all parties to participate in the peace process if it is reached.
The official confirmed that the White House is confident that Israel will eventually join the path sponsored by Washington.
Axios disclosed that Israeli officials requested clarifications from the White House after Iranian media reported that the agreement would grant Tehran billions of dollars immediately upon signing, indicating that U.S. officials assured the Israelis that those reports do not accurately reflect the content of the agreement and that Tehran would not receive any benefits before fulfilling its commitments.
The American official said: “When they review the full terms of the agreement and realize that the Iranians must fulfill their commitments first before receiving any benefits, they will be more at ease.”
