ثمن رئيس الحكومة اليمنية الدكتور شائع الزنداني الدعم السعودي العاجل المعلن الليلة الماضية بمبلغ 150 مليون دولار والمخصص لقطاع الكهرباء لدعم المشتقات النفطية لمحطات توليد الكهرباء، معربا عن تقدير الحكومة اليمنية والشعب للسعودية قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، على التوجيهات الكريمة بتقديم دعم عاجل للمشتقات النفطية بقيمة 150 مليون دولار، عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، لتغطية احتياجات تشغيل محطات الكهرباء في مختلف المحافظات اليمنية. وقال بأن هذا الدعم العاجل يجسد عمق العلاقات التاريخية والمصير المشترك بين البلدين الشقيقين، ويعكس حرص قيادة السعودية، بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وبدعم ومتابعة مباشرة من وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، على مساندة الشعب اليمني والتخفيف من معاناته الإنسانية والاقتصادية في هذه الظروف الاستثنائية التي تمر بها البلاد، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا الدعم يأتي في توقيت بالغ الأهمية، خصوصا مع تزايد الطلب على الطاقة الكهربائية خلال فصل الصيف وارتفاع درجات الحرارة، الأمر الذي سيسهم بصورة مباشرة في تحسين كفاءتها التشغيلية، والتخفيف من معاناة المواطنين، ودعم استمرار الأنشطة التجارية والخدمية والحيوية. وقال بأن هذا الدعم يمثل استجابة سريعة للتعامل مع المتطلبات الملحة والعاجلة ويشكل امتدادا لكافة أشكال الدعم السعودي المقدم لليمن والذي لم يقتصر على الجوانب الإنسانية والإغاثية، بل امتد ليشمل دعم جهود التنمية والاستقرار والإصلاح الاقتصادي، وتعزيز قدرة مؤسسات الدولة على الوفاء بالتزاماتها تجاه المواطنين، وهو ما يعكس الدور المحوري للمملكة في دعم أمن اليمن واستقراره. وأضاف بأن الحكومة اليمنية تقدر الدور الحيوي الذي يضطلع به البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في تنفيذ المشاريع الإستراتيجية والخدمية والتنموية في مختلف القطاعات، وما يمثله من نموذج فاعل للشراكة الأخوية والتنموية المستدامة. وكانت الحكومة اليمنية قد أصدرت بيانا بالتزامن مع الإعلان السعودي عن دعم عاجل مخصص لقطاع الكهرباء في اليمن جددت خلاله التزامها ببذل كافة الجهود لضمان الاستفادة المثلى من هذا الدعم، بما يحقق أهدافه في خدمة المواطنين وتحسين مستوى الخدمات الأساسية، معبرةً عن اعتزازها بالمواقف الأخوية الثابتة للمملكة العربية السعودية إلى جانب الشعب اليمني في مختلف المراحل والظروف.

The Prime Minister of Yemen, Dr. Sha’if Al-Zindani, praised the urgent Saudi support announced last night amounting to $150 million, allocated to the electricity sector to support fuel for power generation stations. He expressed the appreciation of the Yemeni government and people to Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, for the generous directives to provide urgent support for fuel worth $150 million through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, to cover the operational needs of electricity stations in various Yemeni governorates. He stated that this urgent support embodies the depth of the historical relations and shared destiny between the two brotherly countries, reflecting the keenness of the Saudi leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, with direct support and follow-up from Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to assist the Yemeni people and alleviate their humanitarian and economic suffering in these exceptional circumstances the country is going through. He pointed out that this support comes at a critically important time, especially with the increasing demand for electricity during the summer and rising temperatures, which will directly contribute to improving its operational efficiency, alleviating the suffering of citizens, and supporting the continuity of commercial, service, and vital activities. He stated that this support represents a rapid response to address urgent and pressing requirements and extends to all forms of Saudi support provided to Yemen, which has not been limited to humanitarian and relief aspects but has also included support for development, stability, and economic reform efforts, enhancing the capacity of state institutions to meet their obligations towards citizens, reflecting the pivotal role of the Kingdom in supporting Yemen’s security and stability. He added that the Yemeni government appreciates the vital role played by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in implementing strategic, service, and developmental projects across various sectors, representing an effective model of brotherly partnership and sustainable development. The Yemeni government issued a statement coinciding with the Saudi announcement of urgent support allocated to the electricity sector in Yemen, renewing its commitment to make every effort to ensure optimal benefit from this support, achieving its objectives in serving citizens and improving the level of basic services, expressing its pride in the steadfast brotherly positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alongside the Yemeni people in various stages and circumstances.
