وقلص ماثياس ينسن النتيجة لبرينتفورد في الدقيقة 87، لكن الوقت لم يكن كافياً أمام الضيوف لمحاولة إدراك التعادل.

بهذه النتيجة، رفع مانشستر يونايتد رصيده إلى 61 نقطة في المركز الثالث، ليقترب بشدة من التأهل إلى دوري أبطال أوروبا للمرة الأولى منذ موسم 2023-2024.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد برينتفورد عند 48 نقطة في المركز التاسع، لكن لا تزال لديه فرصة التأهل إلى الدوري الأوروبي.

Manchester United opened the scoring early through Casemiro in the 11th minute, then Benjamin Šeško added the second goal two minutes before the end of the first half’s regular time.
Mathias Jensen reduced the score for Brentford in the 87th minute, but time was not enough for the visitors to attempt to equalize.
Team Standings
With this result, Manchester United raised their tally to 61 points in third place, coming very close to qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since the 2023-2024 season.
On the other hand, Brentford’s tally remained at 48 points in ninth place, but they still have a chance to qualify for the Europa League.
