تصاعد التوتر العسكري مع تبادل الولايات المتحدة وإيران الاتهامات بشأن هجمات صاروخية ومسيرات استهدفت مواقع وقواعد عسكرية، في وقت أعلنت فيه الكويت تفعيل صفارات الإنذار عقب اعتراض أهداف جوية معادية.
وأفادت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية (سنتكوم) بأنها أحبطت هجمات إيرانية بالصواريخ الباليستية والمسيرات في الشرق الأوسط، مؤكدة تنفيذ ضربات دفاعية استهدفت منشأة عسكرية إيرانية في جزيرة قشم.
في المقابل، أعلن الحرس الثوري الإيراني أنه استهدف مقر الأسطول الخامس الأمريكي وقاعدة أمريكية في المنطقة، رداً على ما وصفه بـ«الاعتداءات الأمريكية» على جزيرة قشم، لافتاً إلى أن أمريكا استهدفت برج اتصالات في الجزيرة.
سنتكوم: لا صحة لاستهداف الأسطول الخامس
من جانبها، سارعت القيادة المركزية الأمريكية (سنتكوم)إلى نفي صحة المزاعم الإيرانية بشأن استهداف مقر الأسطول الخامس أو قواعد أمريكية في المنطقة.
وقالت إنها اعترضت ثلاث طائرات مسيرة إيرانية كانت تتجه نحو سفن مدنية في المياه الإقليمية، مؤكدة نجاح قواتها في التصدي للهجمات الصاروخية والمسيرة.
وأضافت أن الضربات التي نفذتها استهدفت محطة تحكم أرضية عسكرية تابعة لإيران في جزيرة قشم، مشيرة إلى أن العملية جاءت «دفاعاً عن النفس».
الكويت تفعّل صفارات الإنذار
وفي تطور متزامن، أعلن الجيش الكويتي أن دفاعاته الجوية تصدت لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيرة معادية.
وأكدت الجهات العسكرية الكويتية نجاح عمليات الاعتراض وعدم تسجيل أضرار فورية، في حين استمرت حالة التأهب تحسباً لأي تطورات إضافية.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that it thwarted Iranian missile and drone attacks in the Middle East, confirming defensive strikes targeting an Iranian military facility on Qeshm Island.
In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that it targeted the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters and an American base in the region, in retaliation for what it described as “U.S. assaults” on Qeshm Island, noting that the U.S. targeted a communications tower on the island.
CENTCOM: No truth to the claims of targeting the Fifth Fleet
For its part, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) quickly denied the Iranian claims regarding the targeting of the Fifth Fleet headquarters or U.S. bases in the region.
It stated that it intercepted three Iranian drones that were heading towards civilian ships in the territorial waters, confirming the success of its forces in countering missile and drone attacks.
It added that the strikes it carried out targeted a military ground control station belonging to Iran on Qeshm Island, noting that the operation was conducted “in self-defense.”
Kuwait activates warning sirens
In a simultaneous development, the Kuwaiti army announced that its air defenses intercepted hostile missile and drone attacks.
Kuwaiti military authorities confirmed the success of the interception operations with no immediate damage reported, while the state of alert continued in anticipation of any further developments.
