حظيت الموظفة عبير عبدالله العجمي، بإشادة واسعة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، بعدما أظهرها مقطع متداول وهي تواصل إرشاد المسافرين وتوجيههم إلى الأماكن الآمنة، خلال إخلاء مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض، عقب استهدافه من المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية.
وظهرت عبير في المقطع محافظة على ثباتها وسط حالة من الفزع، منشغلة بمساعدة المسافرين على الخروج ومواصلة توجيههم. واستأثر تصرفها باهتمام المتابعين، الذين أشادوا بحضورها وتحملها المسؤولية في وقت الخطر، وحرصها على أن يصل الآخرون إلى مكان آمن.
ومع انتشار المقطع، تداولت حسابات اسم عبير، مشيرة إلى أنها تعمل في مجال إرشاد المسافرين بصالات المطار. وتوالت التعليقات المشيدة بموقفها، وما أظهرته من شجاعة وتفانٍ في أداء عملها خلال الإخلاء.
وانصب جانب من التفاعل على ثباتها وقدرتها على التعامل مع الموقف، إذ رأى متابعون أن استمرارها في إرشاد المسافرين يعكس إدراكها لأهمية دورها، خصوصًا في لحظات يحتاج فيها المسافر إلى من يوجهه ويساعده على التصرف وسط الارتباك.
