في ليلة رعب حابسة للأنفاس قلبت موازين الشارع الأردني، تحولت رحلة تنزه عائلية بريئة في لواء بني كنانة بمحافظة إربد شمالي الأردن، إلى مجزرة دموية مروعة ومشهد عنف سادي، بعدما شنت مجموعة من الشبان الخارجين عن القانون اعتداءً وحشياً ومخططاً له ضد أفراد عائلة آمنة، مستخدمين الأسلحة البيضاء والآلات الحديدية، مما أسفر عن إصابات مجزأة وكسور في الجماجم وضعت طفلاً بين الحياة والموت.
كواليس الفاجعة التي فجرت موجة غضب عارمة بدأت عندما كانت العائلة تقضي عطلة نهاية الأسبوع في منطقة سياحية، ليتعرض طفلان منها لمضايقات وتحرش لفظي من قِبل شبان، تطور سريعاً إلى تهديد صريح بالقتل والاعتداء.
مطاردة هوليوودية.. واعتداء على النساء والأطفال
حاولت العائلة الهروب من الموقف ومغادرة المكان فوراً تفادياً للاحتكاك، لكن «شياطين الإنس» رفضوا إنهاء الغزوة:
- كمين الطريق: لاحقت عدة مركبات تقل المهاجمين سيارات العائلة، ورغم إبلاغ الأجهزة الأمنية التي وجهت العائلة بالاستمرار في السير حتى وصول الدوريات، إلا أن الجناة اعترضوا مركبة كبار السن أولاً.
- تهشيم الجماجم: في محاولة لإنقاذ النساء والأطفال بمركبة أخرى، تمت مطاردة أحد أفراد العائلة والاعتداء عليه بـ«مطرقة» حديدية على رأسه، مما تسبب في تهشيم جمجمته وفقدانه الوعي فوراً، فيما نالت مطرقة أخرى من طفل آخر مسببة له كسوراً قطعية في الرأس والرقبة واليد، وإصابة دماغية حرجة، تزامناً مع سحب فتاة من شعرها وإلقائها على الأسفلت بلا رحمة.
قبضة الأمن الحديدية تضبط الجناة
وفي محاولة شيطانية لإخفاء معالم الجريمة النكراء وعرقلة التتبع الأمني، قامت عصابة المطارق بتكسير كاميرات المراقبة المنتشرة على الطريق العام قبل فرار أفرادها من مسرح الجريمة.
وسرعان ما استنفرت الأجهزة الأمنية الأردنية قواتها على الفور، ووصلت إلى الموقع لتقديم الإسعافات العاجلة ونقل الغارقين في دمائهم إلى المستشفى تحت حراسة مشددة. وفور بدء عمليات التتبع والبحث والتحري، نجحت القبضة الأمنية في دك معاقل الجناة وإلقاء القبض على 5 أشخاص من المشتبه بتورطهم في هذه الواقعة الدامية، لتسدل الستار مؤقتاً على ليلة الرعب، في انتظار إحالتهم إلى محكمة الجنايات الكبرى لينالوا جزاءهم.
On a breath-holding horror night, the balance of the Jordanian street was turned upside down. A harmless family outing in the Bani Kenanah district of Irbid Governorate in northern Jordan transformed into a horrific bloodbath and a scene of sadistic violence, after a group of lawless young men launched a brutal and premeditated attack against the members of the Amina family, using knives and iron tools, resulting in severe injuries and skull fractures that left a child between life and death.
The behind-the-scenes of the tragedy that sparked a wave of outrage began when the family was spending the weekend in a tourist area, where two of the children faced harassment and verbal abuse from young men, which quickly escalated to explicit threats of murder and assault.
Hollywood-style chase… and attacks on women and children
The family attempted to escape the situation and leave the area immediately to avoid confrontation, but the “devils of humanity” refused to end their assault:
- Road ambush: Several vehicles carrying the attackers pursued the family’s cars, and despite notifying the security forces, who instructed the family to keep driving until the patrols arrived, the perpetrators first intercepted the vehicle of the elderly.
- Skull smashing: In an attempt to save the women and children in another vehicle, one family member was chased down and assaulted with an iron “hammer” to the head, causing his skull to be shattered and rendering him unconscious immediately, while another hammer struck another child, causing him to suffer severe fractures in the head, neck, and hand, along with a critical brain injury, coinciding with a girl being pulled by her hair and thrown onto the asphalt mercilessly.
The iron grip of security apprehends the perpetrators
In a devilish attempt to conceal the features of the heinous crime and obstruct security tracking, the hammer gang smashed the surveillance cameras scattered along the main road before fleeing the crime scene.
Quickly, the Jordanian security forces mobilized their troops immediately, arriving at the site to provide urgent medical assistance and transport those bleeding to the hospital under heavy guard. As soon as the tracking and investigation operations began, the security forces successfully dismantled the perpetrators’ hideouts and arrested 5 individuals suspected of being involved in this bloody incident, temporarily drawing the curtain on the night of horror, awaiting their referral to the Grand Criminal Court to receive their punishment.
