شهد ملعب جيليت في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية حادثة طريفة وغير متوقعة قبل انطلاق الشوط الثاني من مواجهة العراق والنرويج، ضمن منافسات كأس العالم 2026، بعدما تعرض أحد رشاشات المياه داخل أرضية الملعب لعطل مفاجئ أدى إلى اندفاع المياه بقوة كبيرة في وسط الميدان.
وتداولت الجماهير عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي مقاطع فيديو للحظة انفجار الرشاش المائي، وظهر أحد العاملين في أرضية الملعب وهو يحاول التعامل مع العطل وسط تدفق كثيف للمياه، في مشهد أثار تفاعلاً واسعاً بين المتابعين.
وسارعت فرق الصيانة في الملعب إلى احتواء المشكلة وإيقاف تدفق المياه، قبل أن تتم معالجة المنطقة المتضررة من أرضية الملعب والتأكد من جاهزيتها.
ورغم الموقف المفاجئ، نجح المنظمون في السيطرة على العطل خلال وقت قصير، لتستمر الاستعدادات بشكل طبيعي قبل صافرة بداية الشوط الثاني بين المنتخبين العراقي والنرويجي.

Fans shared videos on social media of the moment the sprinkler exploded, showing one of the workers on the field trying to deal with the malfunction amidst a heavy flow of water, in a scene that sparked widespread interaction among viewers.
The maintenance teams at the stadium quickly rushed to contain the problem and stop the water flow, before addressing the affected area of the field and ensuring its readiness.
Despite the unexpected situation, the organizers managed to control the malfunction in a short time, allowing preparations to continue normally before the whistle for the start of the second half between the Iraqi and Norwegian teams.
