الجماهير السنغالية والفرنسية ستكون يوم الثلاثاء القادم عند الساعة 10 مساءّ بتوقيت السعودية، على موعد مع قمة كروية منتظرة، خصوصاً أنها تحمل أبعاداً خارج المستطيل الأخضر بين نجوم المنتخبين، بسبب تمثيل عدد كبير من نجوم منتخب أسود التيرانغا منتخب الديوك خلال فترة سابقة، فالسنغال، المستعمرة الفرنسية السابقة حتى عام 1960، لا تزال مرتبطة ثقافياً ورياضياً بفرنسا، وهو ما ينعكس بوضوح على تركيبة منتخبها الحالي، إذ ولد عدد لافت من لاعبيها على الأراضي الفرنسية، أو تدرجوا داخل أكاديمياتها.
ولو استعدنا الذاكرة الرياضية فهناك أسماء سبق أن ارتدت قميص منتخب فرنسا مثل إدوارد ميندي، موريس دياو، ييفان ديوف، كاليدو كوليبالي، مامادو سار، أنطوان ميندي، إيليمان ندياي، والموهبة الصاعدة إبراهيم مباي، إذ وُلدوا في فرنسا قبل أن يختاروا تمثيل منتخب السنغال بصفة رسمية، كما أنهم مثلوا أكاديمية كليرفونتين، الذي تعتبر منجماً لنجوم كرة القدم.
وسبق للمنتخبات الفرنسية السنية أن مثلها عدد من نجوم منتخب السنغال الحاليين وقاموا بالتتويج بالألقاب أيضاً، وهم كاليدو كوليبالي، الذي مثل فرنسا في الفئات العمرية، وخاض 11 مباراة دولية، وشارك في مونديال تحت 20 عاماً 2011، إلى جانب أنطوان غريزمان، قبل أن يتحول إلى قائد للمنتخب السنغالي.
كما يبرز مامادو سار، الذي قاد منتخب فرنسا تحت 17 عاماً للتتويج ببطولة أوروبا 2022، قبل أن يحسم وجهته الدولية نحو السنغال، إلى جانب حبيب ديارا، الذي استمر مع فرنسا حتى منتخب تحت 21 عاماً.
وفي السياق ذاته، يعد ييفان ديوف أحد الأسماء التي تدرّجت عبر معظم الفئات السنية الفرنسية، وشارك أساسياً في يورو تحت 19 عاماً 2018، بينما خاض بابي غوي تجارب متعددة مع منتخبات الشباب الفرنسية، قبل أن يختار قميص أسود التيرانغا.
ويكتمل هذا المسار مع الموهبة الصاعدة إبراهيم مباي، لاعب باريس سان جيرمان، الذي بقي ضمن المشروع الفرنسي حتى 2025، قبل أن يغيّر موقفه ويقرر تمثيل السنغال، في خطوة تعكس استمرار نزيف المواهب من الديوك لصالح جذورها الأفريقية.

In this context, Yvan Diouf is one of the names that progressed through most of the French age categories and was a key player in the Under-19 Euro 2018, while Pape Gueye had multiple experiences with the French youth teams before choosing the jersey of the Lions of Teranga.
This journey is completed with the rising talent Ibrahim Mbaye, a Paris Saint-Germain player, who remained within the French project until 2025, before changing his stance and deciding to represent Senegal, in a move that reflects the ongoing drain of talent from the French team in favor of their African roots.
