أصدر مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي الأمريكي (FBI) تحذيراً عاجلاً لملايين المشجعين المتجهين إلى الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا لمتابعة مباريات كأس العالم 2026 من الوقوع ضحايا لمواقع إلكترونية مزيفة تبيع تذاكر وهمية.
ونقلت صحيفة «ذا صن» البريطانية عن «FBI» وشرطة فيلادلفيا تحذيرهما المتكرر من انتشار مواقع مزورة تدّعي بيع تذاكر الفيفا الرسمية، مستغلة الإقبال الجماهيري الكبير والطلب المرتفع على المباريات.
وأكدت الصحيفة أن ملف التذاكر شهد «فوضى عارمة» أخيراً، مع ازدياد عمليات الاحتيال الإلكتروني التي تستهدف المشجعين الباحثين عن مقاعد لحضور المونديال.
ونصح مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي الجميع بتوخي أقصى درجات الحذر والتأكد من الدخول للموقع الرسمي للفيفا فقط عند شراء التذاكر، وعدم الانسياق وراء العروض الوهمية على مواقع التواصل أو المواقع غير الموثوقة.
ويأتي التحذير في وقت تشهد فيه عملية بيع التذاكر ضغطاً هائلاً مع اقتراب انطلاق النسخة التاريخية التي تقام بمشاركة 48 منتخباً وللمرة الأولى في 3 دول.
The American Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has issued an urgent warning to millions of fans heading to the United States, Mexico, and Canada to watch the 2026 World Cup matches, to avoid falling victim to fake websites selling counterfeit tickets.
The British newspaper “The Sun” reported that the FBI and the Philadelphia Police have repeatedly warned about the proliferation of fraudulent sites claiming to sell official FIFA tickets, taking advantage of the massive public interest and high demand for the matches.
The newspaper confirmed that the ticketing situation has seen “chaos” recently, with an increase in online fraud targeting fans looking for seats to attend the World Cup.
The FBI advised everyone to exercise the utmost caution and ensure they only access the official FIFA website when purchasing tickets, and not to be swayed by fake offers on social media or untrustworthy sites.
The warning comes at a time when ticket sales are under immense pressure with the historic edition, featuring 48 teams for the first time across 3 countries, approaching its kickoff.
