كشفت مصادر عسكرية عن تقدم القوات المسلحة اليمنية باتجاه معسكر «ماس» الإستراتيجي غربي محافظة مأرب، بالتزامن مع معارك عنيفة واشتباكات متواصلة في جبهات الجوبة ومدغل ورغوان.
وأفادت المصادر بأن القوات الحكومية تخوض مواجهات مع مليشيا الحوثي في عدد من جبهات المحافظة، بالتزامن مع التحركات العسكرية باتجاه المعسكر، الذي يعد من المواقع ذات الأهمية الإستراتيجية في غرب مأرب.
ونشر المركز الإعلامي للقوات اليمنية مقاطع مصورة تظهر اقتحام تحصينات المليشيا الحوثية في الجبهة الجنوبية بمحافظة مأرب. وذكر المركز في منشور على منصة “إكس” أن العناصر الحوثية فرت أمام القوات المسلحة.
يذكر أن معسكر ماس يكتسب أهمية كبيرة من موقعه المرتبط بطرق تؤدي إلى صنعاء ومحافظة الجوف، ما يجعل محيطه محوراً مهماً في المواجهات الدائرة، وسط ترقب لتطورات المعارك وانعكاساتها على خريطة السيطرة الميدانية في المحافظة. وقتل طفل ورجل، إثر سقوط قذيفة أطلقتها مليشيا الحوثي استهدفت قرية عاد في قمة جبل صبر، جنوب محافظة تعز. وأسفر القصف عن استشهاد الطفل إلياس محمد علي الجندي (13 عاماً)، ومعتصم إبراهيم أحمد قاسم، جراء الهجوم.
في غضون ذلك، حذر مكتب الشركة اليمنية للغاز في محافظة تعز من تفاقم معاناة المواطنين جراء منع مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية وصول إمدادات الغاز المنزلي إلى المدينة، في ظل أوضاع اقتصادية وإنسانية صعبة يواجهها السكان نتيجة استمرار الحصار المفروض منذ نحو 12 عاماً.
وأدان المكتب في بيان منع وصول إمدادات الغاز المنزلي، مؤكداً أن هذه الإجراءات تضاعف الأعباء المعيشية على المواطنين وتهدد استقرار حياتهم اليومية، في وقت يعاني فيه السكان من تدهور الأوضاع الاقتصادية والإنسانية. وأوضح البيان أن الغاز المنزلي يمثل مادة أساسية لا غنى عنها في حياة المواطنين، محذراً من استخدام الحاجات الضرورية وسيلة للضغط والعقاب الجماعي، لما يمثله ذلك من انتهاك لحقوق السكان ومساس بكرامتهم الإنسانية.
وطالب مكتب الشركة برفع القيود والعوائق التي تحول دون وصول إمدادات الغاز إلى مدينة تعز بصورة منتظمة وآمنة، داعياً المنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية والجهات المعنية إلى التدخل العاجل والضغط لإنهاء الأزمة وضمان استمرار تدفق الغاز وسائر الحاجات الأساسية دون عوائق. وشدد البيان على أن توفير المواد الأساسية للسكان مسؤولية إنسانية لا ينبغي إخضاعها للتجاذبات أو استخدامها وسيلة للضغط على المواطنين.
Military sources have revealed the advancement of the Yemeni armed forces towards the strategic “Mas” camp in the western Marib governorate, coinciding with fierce battles and ongoing clashes in the Al-Jawbah, Madghal, and Raghwan fronts.
The sources reported that government forces are engaged in confrontations with the Houthi militia in several fronts of the governorate, alongside military movements towards the camp, which is considered one of the strategically important sites in western Marib.
The media center of the Yemeni forces published video clips showing the storming of the Houthi militia’s fortifications in the southern front of Marib governorate. The center mentioned in a post on the “X” platform that Houthi elements fled before the armed forces.
It is worth noting that the Mas camp gains significant importance due to its location linked to routes leading to Sana’a and Al-Jawf governorate, making its surroundings a crucial axis in the ongoing confrontations, amid anticipation of developments in the battles and their implications on the field control map in the governorate. A child and a man were killed as a result of a shell fired by the Houthi militia targeting the village of Aad at the top of Mount Saber, south of Taiz governorate. The shelling resulted in the martyrdom of the child Ilyas Mohammed Ali Al-Jundi (13 years old) and Moatasem Ibrahim Ahmed Qassem due to the attack.
Meanwhile, the office of the Yemeni Gas Company in Taiz governorate warned of the worsening suffering of citizens due to the Houthi terrorist militia’s prevention of household gas supplies from reaching the city, amid difficult economic and humanitarian conditions faced by the residents as a result of the ongoing blockade imposed for nearly 12 years.
The office condemned in a statement the prevention of household gas supplies, affirming that these measures exacerbate the living burdens on citizens and threaten the stability of their daily lives, at a time when residents are suffering from the deterioration of economic and humanitarian conditions. The statement clarified that household gas is an essential material that citizens cannot do without, warning against using essential needs as a means of pressure and collective punishment, as this represents a violation of the rights of the residents and an affront to their human dignity.
The company’s office called for lifting the restrictions and obstacles that prevent the regular and safe arrival of gas supplies to the city of Taiz, urging human rights and humanitarian organizations and relevant authorities to intervene urgently and pressure to end the crisis and ensure the continued flow of gas and other essential needs without obstacles. The statement emphasized that providing essential materials for the residents is a humanitarian responsibility that should not be subjected to political maneuvering or used as a means of pressure on citizens.
