أعلن الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) ضوابط واستثناءات صارمة تتعلق بتعديل قوائم المنتخبات المشاركة في كأس العالم 2026، التي ستنطلق الشهر المقبل في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك.
وأكد فيفا أنه لن يُسمح باستبدال أي لاعب في القائمة النهائية بلاعب آخر من القائمة الأولية، إلا في حالات الضرورة القصوى المتمثلة في الإصابة الخطيرة أو المرض الشديد، وعلى أن يتم ذلك قبل 24 ساعة على الأقل من موعد المباراة الأولى للمنتخب في البطولة.
استثناء خاص لحراس المرمى
ويتمتع حراس المرمى باستثناء ملحوظ، إذ يُسمح باستبدال أي حارس في القائمة النهائية بحارس آخر من القائمة الأولية في أي وقت خلال البطولة، في حال تعرضه لإصابة خطيرة أو ظرف صحي يمنعه من المشاركة، مع تقديم تقرير طبي مفصل يحظى بموافقة اللجنة الطبية في فيفا.
ووفقاً لفيفا ستتكون القائمة النهائية لكل منتخب من 23 إلى 26 لاعباً، على أن يتواجد بينهم 3 حراس مرمى على الأقل، أما القائمة الأولية المؤقتة فتراوح بين 35 و55 لاعباً، وتشمل 4 حراس مرمى على الأقل، وتُستخدم لأغراض تنظيمية داخلية ولا تُنشر رسمياً.
ورغم إمكانية إعلان المنتخبات قوائمها في أي وقت، فإن اعتمادها الرسمي لن يتم إلا بعد التصديق النهائي من فيفا في الموعد المحدد، ويُعد يوم 2 يونيو محطة حاسمة لكشف ملامح القوائم النهائية لأكبر بطولة في تاريخ كرة القدم.
حفاظاً على العدالة التنافسية
تأتي هذه القواعد الصارمة ضمن جهود فيفا للحفاظ على العدالة التنافسية ونزاهة المنافسات، مع منح المنتخبات مرونة محدودة للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة فقط، وتهدف اللوائح إلى منع أي محاولات لتغيير القوائم بشكل عشوائي قد يؤثر على توازن المنافسة.
ويُشارك في المونديال 48 منتخباً لأول مرة في تاريخ البطولة، مما يجعله الأكبر والأضخم على الإطلاق، وتعكس هذه الضوابط تطور لوائح فيفا مقارنة بالبطولات السابقة، إذ أصبح حجم القوائم أكثر مرونة (حتى 26 لاعباً) مع الحرص على تقييد التغييرات بعد الإعلان النهائي.

The International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced strict regulations and exceptions regarding the modification of the rosters of the teams participating in the 2026 World Cup, which will kick off next month in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
FIFA confirmed that no player in the final roster will be allowed to be replaced by another player from the preliminary list, except in extreme cases represented by serious injury or severe illness, and this must be done at least 24 hours before the team’s first match in the tournament.
Special Exception for Goalkeepers
Goalkeepers enjoy a notable exception, as any goalkeeper in the final roster can be replaced by another goalkeeper from the preliminary list at any time during the tournament, in the event of serious injury or health circumstances that prevent participation, provided that a detailed medical report is submitted and approved by FIFA’s medical committee.
According to FIFA, the final roster for each team will consist of 23 to 26 players, with at least 3 goalkeepers among them, while the temporary preliminary list ranges from 35 to 55 players, including at least 4 goalkeepers, and is used for internal organizational purposes and is not officially published.
Although teams can announce their rosters at any time, official approval will only occur after final ratification by FIFA at the specified time, and June 2 is a critical date for revealing the features of the final rosters for the largest tournament in the history of football.

These strict rules are part of FIFA’s efforts to maintain competitive fairness and the integrity of the competitions, while providing teams with limited flexibility to handle emergency situations only.
