The Egyptian artist Mohamed Fadl Shaker has settled the controversy surrounding a concert attributed to his father, the Lebanese artist Fadl Shaker, in Dubai, after denying the validity of a circulating announcement that specifies November 5 as the date for the concert, warning the public against falling for unreliable advertisements that use his father’s name to promote events that have not been officially announced.
“FAKE”.. A decisive message from Mohamed Fadl Shaker
Mohamed Fadl Shaker drew attention to the circulating announcement through his Instagram account, after he re-shared the promotional poster advertising a supposed concert in Dubai, titled “The Long-Awaited Return,” with phrases describing the evening as exceptional.
He accompanied the poster with the word “fake,” confirming the inaccuracy of its contents, in a warning message to his father’s audience about the necessity of verifying information related to his concerts before believing or interacting with it, in order to avoid falling victim to fake advertisements that exploit his name.
Ticket sell-out adds a new night for Fadl Shaker in Riyadh
The denial of the supposed concert comes as Fadl Shaker prepares to perform at his concert as part of the Riyadh Season events on October 22, after announcing an additional date the following day, October 23, following the sell-out of tickets for the first concert, amid the public’s enthusiasm for the anticipated evening.
Fadl Shaker’s audience is eagerly awaiting his meeting in Riyadh, where he is preparing to present a selection of his most prominent songs that have solidified his presence in the Arab music scene, alongside his latest musical releases, in a concert that will be fully attended.
The ticket prices for the first concert were divided into three price categories, ranging from 475 to 950 Saudi Riyals, as follows: 950 Saudi Riyals for the first category, 695 Saudi Riyals for the second category, and 475 Saudi Riyals for the third category.
