شارك وفد المملكة، ممثلاً في مجلس شؤون الأسرة والهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني، في اجتماع الطاولة المستديرة حول حماية الأطفال وتمكينهم في البيئة الرقمية، الذي عُقد خلال الفترة من 21 إلى 22 أبريل الجاري في مدينة أنقرة بجمهورية تركيا، وذلك بدعوة من وزارة الأسرة والخدمات الاجتماعية التركية وبالتعاون مع منظمة اليونسيف والأمم المتحدة.
واستعرض الوفد جهود المملكة في تعزيز منظومة حماية الطفل، بما في ذلك الإطار الوطني لحماية الأطفال في الفضاء الرقمي، وتفعيل التشريعات والبرامج التوعوية التي تمكّن الأطفال وأسرهم من الاستخدام الآمن للتقنيات.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص المملكة على دعم الجهود الدولية وتطوير السياسات، التي تسهم في توفير بيئة رقمية آمنة للأطفال.
The delegation of the Kingdom, represented by the Family Affairs Council and the National Cybersecurity Authority, participated in the roundtable meeting on protecting and empowering children in the digital environment, which was held from April 21 to 22 in Ankara, Turkey, at the invitation of the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services in collaboration with UNICEF and the United Nations.
The delegation reviewed the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the child protection system, including the national framework for protecting children in the digital space, and activating legislation and awareness programs that empower children and their families to use technology safely.
This participation comes as part of the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting international efforts and developing policies that contribute to providing a safe digital environment for children.
