“Okaz” learned from sources that the management of Al-Nasr Club is close to finalizing the renewal of the contract for first-team football player Nawaf Boushal before he enters the six-month “free” period in January, which allows the player to sign with any club without returning to his current club. The agreement on the details of the new contract, which includes financial details and the duration of the contract, is currently being finalized, and then it will be submitted to the Financial Control Committee for approval of the new contract. The movements by Al-Nasr to renew the player’s contract come amid the financial scrutiny the club faces regarding its new contracts and those that will be renewed.
The Al-Nasr management aims to finalize the player’s contract renewal early to support the stability of the football team, which needs the essential elements that form a strong foundation for the team in its local and continental competitions this season.
Boushal confirmed in one of the press conferences that the renewal of his contract is currently being handled between his agent and the club’s management, hoping for a positive resolution to ensure his stability with the team.
Right-back Nawaf Boushal joined Al-Nasr Club in January 2023, coming from Al-Fateh Club after the capital club purchased the remaining duration of his contract, which ends in the summer of 2027.
