قتل 26 مسلحا في ضربات دقيقة ومدروسة نفذها الجيش الباكستاني على أوكار ومخابئ إرهابية على طول الحدود مع أفغانسان، بحسب ما نقلت صحيفة Dawn الباكستانية.
وأعلن وزير الإعلام الباكستاني عطا الله تارار، في منشور على «إكس»، اليوم (الأربعاء)، في أعقاب الحوادث الإرهابية الأخيرة في باكستان، نُفذت ضربات دقيقة ومدروسة على مناطق حدودية بين باكستان وأفغانستان استهدفت مخابئ وملاذات آمنة لمدبري ومخططي الهجمات المنتمين إلى جماعة فتنة الخوارج، ما أدى إلى سقوط 26 من عناصر الخوارج المدعومين من الهند.
وجاءت هذه الضربات بعد يوم من سقوط 6 عناصر من قوات الشرطة الباكستانية وإصابة 4 آخرين أثناء تصديهم لمحاولة نفذها مسلحون للسيطرة على موقع أمني في منطقة حسن خيل بمدينة بيشاور.
ونقلت صحيفة Dawn عن مصادر أمنية، قولها: إن القوات تمكنت من إحباط محاولة الاستيلاء على الموقع وقتلت 8 مسلحين خلال عملية الرد، مضيفة أن 3 من أفراد الأمن اختطفهم المهاجمون.
وأسفر هجوم انتحاري في مدينة بانو بإقليم خيبر بختونخوا الشهر الماضي عن سقوط 15 من أفراد الشرطة. وأعلنت وزارة الخارجية الباكستانية استدعاء القائم بالأعمال الأفغاني في إسلام آباد وتسليمه مذكرة احتجاج شديدة اللهجة.
ودعت إسلام آباد مراراً حكومة طالبان في أفغانستان إلى تفكيك الملاذات الآمنة للجماعات المسلحة على الأراضي الأفغانية، خصوصاً تلك المرتبطة بحركة طالبان باكستان المحظورة. وتقول السلطات الباكستانية إن هذه الدعوات لم تلق استجابة.
من جانبها، تنفي حركة طالبان الأفغانية هذه الاتهامات، وتؤكد أن مشكلة المسلحين داخل باكستان شأن داخلي باكستاني.
وفي فبراير الماضي، أطلقت باكستان عملية «غضب للحق» عقب تعرضها لإطلاق نار عبر الحدود من جانب عناصر طالبان الأفغانية. وأعلنت إسلام آباد آنذاك أنها استهدفت بنية تحتية تابعة لجماعات مسلحة، بما في ذلك مواقع تخزين الذخيرة والمعدات.
ونفت باكستان الاتهامات الأفغانية التي تحدثت عن استهداف منشآت مدنية خلال العملية.
وتوقفت العملية لفترة وجيزة خلال عطلة عيد الفطر في مارس الماضي.
26 militants were killed in precise and calculated strikes carried out by the Pakistani army on terrorist hideouts and shelters along the border with Afghanistan, according to the Pakistani newspaper Dawn.
Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced in a post on “X” today (Wednesday), following the recent terrorist incidents in Pakistan, that precise and calculated strikes were executed on border areas between Pakistan and Afghanistan targeting the hideouts and safe havens of the planners and masterminds of the attacks belonging to the Kharijite sect, resulting in the death of 26 Kharijite elements supported by India.
These strikes came a day after 6 members of the Pakistani police forces were killed and 4 others injured while they were responding to an attempt by militants to seize a security site in the Hassan Khel area of Peshawar city.
Dawn reported, citing security sources, that the forces managed to thwart the attempt to seize the site and killed 8 militants during the counter-operation, adding that 3 security personnel were kidnapped by the attackers.
A suicide attack in Bannu city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province last month resulted in the deaths of 15 police personnel. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced the summoning of the Afghan chargé d’affaires in Islamabad and handed him a strongly worded protest note.
Islamabad has repeatedly urged the Taliban government in Afghanistan to dismantle the safe havens of armed groups on Afghan territory, especially those linked to the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan. Pakistani authorities say these calls have gone unanswered.
For its part, the Afghan Taliban denies these accusations, asserting that the issue of militants within Pakistan is a domestic Pakistani matter.
In February, Pakistan launched Operation “Wrath of Truth” following gunfire across the border from elements of the Afghan Taliban. Islamabad announced at that time that it targeted infrastructure belonging to armed groups, including ammunition and equipment storage sites.
Pakistan denied Afghan accusations that civilian facilities were targeted during the operation.
The operation was briefly halted during the Eid al-Fitr holiday in March.
