The National Program for Combating Commercial Concealment emphasized the importance of commercial establishments’ commitment to the approved market rules, which contributes to raising compliance levels, enhancing transparency, and reducing practices of commercial concealment.
The program clarified that compliance begins with having a valid and updated commercial registration, completing the necessary licenses to conduct the activity, opening a bank account specific to the establishment, and not using personal accounts for its transactions, in addition to renewing licenses and continuously updating the establishment’s data and addresses.
It pointed out the importance of registering establishments in the Wage Protection Program, entering employee wage data, electronically documenting labor contracts, and committing to not employing labor that violates regulations.
The program also stressed the necessity of documenting all financial transactions and adhering to related regulations, and not allowing non-Saudis to have unrestricted control over or manage the establishment in a manner that violates regulations, in addition to providing electronic payment methods and issuing and storing electronic invoices.
The program urged establishments to obtain financing through the designated legal channels, documenting all related operations, and fully complying with the instructions and regulations governing the practice of economic activities.
