أعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية، (الجمعة)، إلقاء القبض على أمجد يوسف، المتهم الأول بارتكاب مجزرة حي التضامن في دمشق عام 2013، في عملية أمنية وُصفت بـ«المحكمة»، أنهت سنوات من المطاردة.
وقال وزير الداخلية أنس خطاب عبر منصة «إكس»: «المجرم أمجد يوسف، المتهم الأول بارتكاب مجزرة التضامن، بات في قبضتنا بعد عملية أمنية محكمة».
رصد دقيق ومطاردة لأشهر
كشف المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية نور الدين البابا، أن عملية القبض جاءت بعد أشهر من الرصد والمتابعة الأمنية المكثفة، مؤكداً أن المتهم سيُحال إلى القضاء لينال جزاءه وفق الإجراءات القانونية.
وأوضح أن يوسف كان منذ سقوط النظام السابق ضمن قائمة أبرز المطلوبين، نظراً للصدمة العالمية التي خلفتها مجزرة التضامن، وما ارتبط بها من مشاهد وصفت بـ«الوحشية».
محاولات سابقة ومعلومة حاسمة
وبيّن البابا أن الأجهزة الأمنية نفذت عدة محاولات لاعتقاله، بينها محاولة في سبتمبر الماضي لم تنجح، إلا أن المتابعة استمرت حتى تم تحديد موقعه بشكل تقريبي قبل نحو شهر في قرية نبع الطيب بريف حماة.
وأشار إلى أن العملية جاءت بعد جمع معلومات دقيقة وتضييق نطاق البحث تدريجياً حتى الوصول إلى الهدف.
خطة بثلاثة أطواق أمنية
نفذت القوات الأمنية العملية وفق خطة محكمة اعتمدت على ثلاثة أطواق أمنية لمنع فرار المتهم، بالتنسيق بين أجهزة الأمن الداخلي وإدارات العمليات والمعلومات والمهام الخاصة، ضمن غرفة عمليات بإشراف وزارة الداخلية.
وأكد المتحدث أن القوات تمكنت من القبض على يوسف داخل الموقع المستهدف رغم محاولته المقاومة.
مقاطع توثق الاعتقال
تداولت منصات التواصل الاجتماعي مقاطع مصورة قيل إنها تُظهر أمجد يوسف وهو قيد الاحتجاز لدى الأجهزة الأمنية، في مشاهد أعادت القضية إلى الواجهة مجدداً.
تفاصيل مجزرة صادمة
أعادت عملية القبض تسليط الضوء على مجزرة التضامن التي وقعت عام 2013 في دمشق، والتي كُشف عنها لاحقاً عبر مقطع مصور أظهر إعدام مدنيين بدم بارد.
ووثق الفيديو اقتياد ضحايا إلى حفرة عميقة أُعدت مسبقاً، حيث جرى إطلاق النار عليهم، قبل تكديس جثثهم وإحراقها باستخدام إطارات سيارات وأخشاب وصبّ البنزين عليها.
تحقيق دولي كشف الجريمة
ووفق تحقيق نشرته صحيفة «غارديان»، فإن غالبية الضحايا كانوا من الشباب، إضافة إلى نساء وأطفال.
وكشف التحقيق أن الفيديو عُثر عليه داخل حاسوب محمول، قبل أن يُسرّب لاحقاً إلى ناشطين وباحثين، من بينهم البروفيسور أوغر أوميت أونغور، الذي شارك في تتبع القضية لسنوات، حتى تم تحديد هوية الشخص الذي أشرف على عمليات الإعدام، وهو أمجد يوسف.
من أبرز المطلوبين بعد 2024
وبعد سقوط نظام بشار الأسد في نهاية عام 2024، برز اسم أمجد يوسف كأحد أبرز المطلوبين للعدالة، على خلفية دوره في المجزرة التي أثارت استنكاراً دولياً واسعاً.
ماذا حدث في حي التضامن؟
وقعت المجزرة في شارع نسرين بحي التضامن المتاخم لمخيم اليرموك، ولم تُكشف تفاصيلها إلا بعد نحو 9 سنوات.
وأظهر الفيديو عناصر بزي عسكري يخدعون مدنيين بإيهامهم بوجود قناص، ويدفعونهم للركض، قبل إطلاق النار عليهم من بنادق «إيه كيه 47»، في مشهد وثق واحدة من أبشع الجرائم خلال سنوات النزاع.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced on Friday the arrest of Amjad Youssef, the primary suspect in the 2013 massacre in the Al-Tadamon neighborhood of Damascus, in a security operation described as “precise,” ending years of pursuit.
Interior Minister Anas Khattab stated via the “X” platform: “The criminal Amjad Youssef, the primary suspect in the Al-Tadamon massacre, is now in our custody after a well-planned security operation.”
Accurate Surveillance and Months of Pursuit
Spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Nour al-Din al-Baba, revealed that the arrest operation came after months of intensive surveillance and security follow-up, confirming that the suspect will be referred to the judiciary to receive his due punishment according to legal procedures.
He explained that Youssef had been on the list of the most wanted individuals since the fall of the previous regime, due to the global shock caused by the Al-Tadamon massacre and the associated scenes described as “brutal.”
Previous Attempts and Crucial Information
Al-Baba indicated that security agencies had made several attempts to arrest him, including an unsuccessful attempt last September, but the follow-up continued until his approximate location was identified about a month ago in the village of Nab’ al-Tayyib in the Hama countryside.
He pointed out that the operation came after gathering accurate information and gradually narrowing the search area until reaching the target.
Operation with Three Security Rings
The security forces executed the operation according to a well-structured plan that relied on three security rings to prevent the suspect’s escape, in coordination between internal security agencies and the operations, information, and special tasks departments, within an operations room supervised by the Ministry of Interior.
The spokesman confirmed that the forces were able to apprehend Youssef inside the targeted site despite his attempts to resist.
Footage Documenting the Arrest
Social media platforms circulated video clips said to show Amjad Youssef in custody of the security forces, in scenes that brought the case back to the forefront.
Shocking Massacre Details
The arrest operation highlighted the Al-Tadamon massacre that took place in 2013 in Damascus, which was later revealed through a video showing the cold-blooded execution of civilians.
The video documented the victims being led to a deep pit prepared in advance, where they were shot before their bodies were piled up and burned using car tires and wood, with gasoline poured over them.
International Investigation Revealing the Crime
According to an investigation published by the “Guardian” newspaper, the majority of the victims were young people, in addition to women and children.
The investigation revealed that the video was found on a laptop before being leaked to activists and researchers, including Professor Oğuz Umut Öngör, who participated in tracking the case for years until the identity of the person overseeing the executions was identified as Amjad Youssef.
One of the Most Wanted After 2024
After the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime at the end of 2024, Amjad Youssef’s name emerged as one of the most wanted individuals for justice, due to his role in the massacre that sparked widespread international condemnation.
What Happened in Al-Tadamon Neighborhood?
The massacre occurred on Nasrin Street in the Al-Tadamon neighborhood adjacent to the Yarmouk camp, and its details were not revealed until about 9 years later.
The video showed armed men in military uniforms deceiving civilians by pretending there was a sniper, forcing them to run before shooting them with AK-47 rifles, in a scene that documented one of the most heinous crimes during the years of conflict.
