حسمت عائلة الفنان القدير عادل إمام الجدل المثار في الأوساط الفنية والإعلامية حول البدء في تدوين وتوثيق مذكرات «زعيم الكوميديا العربية»، مؤكدة أنه لم يتم اتخاذ أي خطوة فعلية أو رسمية في هذا الصدد حتى الآن، رغم أن الفكرة تظل مطروحة للنقاش العائلي من حين لآخر.
وأوضح المخرج رامي إمام، نجل الزعيم، في تصريحات صحفية حاسمة: «لم نتخذ خطوة ملموسة بشأن هذا الأمر؛ الفكرة ما زالت قائمة وتراودنا بالفعل، لكن حتى هذه اللحظة لا يوجد أي شكل نهائي أو اتفاق لكتابة أو توثيق مذكرات الوالد»، مشيراً إلى أنه في حال الاستقرار على تفاصيل هذا المشروع الضخم، سيتم الإعلان عنه فوراً للجمهور.
وجاء هذا النفي الرسمي ليضع حداً لـ«مفاجأة من العيار الثقيل» فجّرها الإعلامي عمرو الليثي عبر حسابه على منصة إكس، عندما أعلن بدء عادل إمام توثيق مذكراته الشخصية والفنية بتقنية الفيديو، في خطوة وُصفت بأنها الحدث الفني الأبرز لعام 2026، كاشفاً أن الزعيم قرر فتح خزائن أسراره ومشاركة الجمهور تفاصيل رحلته الممتدة لأكثر من 6 عقود.
ولم يتوقف الحراك الإعلامي عند هذا الحد، إذ أعلن الإعلامي ممدوح موسى بدوره البدء في تصوير برنامج وثائقي يحمل اسم «الزعيم»، يتناول سيرة ومذكرات عادل إمام عبر شهادات حصرية لرفاق دربه وعائلته وأصدقائه المقربين من داخل الوسط الفني وخارجه؛ وهو ما وضع تصريحات صناع الإعلام في مواجهة مباشرة مع تحفظ وعقلانية «آل إمام» في إدارة إرث تاريخهم الفني.
The family of the esteemed artist Adel Imam has settled the ongoing debate in artistic and media circles regarding the commencement of documenting and recording the memoirs of the “Leader of Arab Comedy,” confirming that no actual or official steps have been taken in this regard so far, although the idea remains open for family discussion from time to time.
Director Rami Imam, the leader’s son, clarified in decisive press statements: “We have not taken any tangible steps regarding this matter; the idea is still present and indeed crosses our minds, but as of this moment, there is no final form or agreement to write or document our father’s memoirs,” pointing out that if they settle on the details of this massive project, it will be announced to the public immediately.
This official denial came to put an end to a “heavyweight surprise” that was revealed by media personality Amr El Lathy through his account on the X platform, when he announced that Adel Imam had begun documenting his personal and artistic memoirs using video technology, in a move described as the most significant artistic event of 2026, revealing that the leader decided to open the vaults of his secrets and share with the public the details of his journey spanning over six decades.
The media movement did not stop there, as media personality Mamdouh Moussa also announced the start of filming a documentary program titled “The Leader,” which addresses the life and memoirs of Adel Imam through exclusive testimonies from his companions, family, and close friends from within and outside the artistic community; this has placed the statements of media creators in direct confrontation with the reservations and rationality of the Imam family in managing the legacy of their artistic history.
