هل «راجع يتعمّر لبنان» ؟ – أخبار السعودية – ن والقلم

هذه أمنية كل المحبين الصادقين للبنان، المشفقين عليه من المتاعب الشديدة التي عاناها وما زال. يريدونه أن «يتعمّر» فعلاً، ليس فقط بنياناً معمارياً، بل أن يستعيد عمرانه الأمني والثقافي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي، الذي كان يجذب الناس من كل حدب وصوب، عندما كان لبنان واحة الجمال الاستثنائي في كل شيء.

لطالما تكالبت النوائب على لبنان حتى يُظن أنها أصبحت قدره الدائم، لكنه يفاجئنا بعد كل دورة خراب وإن طالت بقدرته على النهوض، والتشبث بالحياة. حدث ذلك مرات عديدة، وها نحن هذه المرة ننتظر طائر الفينيق اللبناني لينفض الرماد عنه ويفرد جناحيه من جديد محلقاً في فضاء الحياة التي يستحقها.

نقول ذلك لأن هناك بشارات رغم كل الظروف المقلقة، وآخرها ما نشرته وكالة رويترز للأنباء عن مصدر سعودي رفيع المستوى يؤكد أن وفداً سعودياً سيقوم بزيارة لبنان قريباً لمناقشة إزالة العقبات التي تواجه الصادرات اللبنانية إلى المملكة، مشيراً إلى أن لبنان قد أثبت كفاءته في تقليص تهريب المخدرات إلى المملكة، كما أشار الخبر إلى أنه من المقرر أن يصل مستشار وزير الخارجية السعودي المكلّف بمتابعة ملف لبنان الأمير يزيد بن فرحان إلى بيروت قريباً جداً، على رأس وفد تجاري واقتصادي يضم 27 شخصية سعودية من قطاعات استثمارية مختلفة، في زيارة تحمل طابعاً اقتصادياً وسياسياً، إذ تُعد بمثابة اختبار جدي لمدى استعداد الدولة اللبنانية للالتزام بمسار إصلاحي واضح، يضمن بيئة آمنة للاستثمار ويعزز ثقة المملكة بإمكانات الشراكة مع لبنان وفتح قنوات استثمار شفافة وآمنة.

دائماً كانت السعودية مع لبنان في كل الظروف وبمختلف أشكال الدعم، لكنه عندما أصبح يعيش فراغاً مؤسسياً كبيراً، وتدخلات خارجية خطيرة، ونفوذاً مسلحاً غير خاضع لسلطة الدولة، لم يعد ممكناً للسعودية أن تقدم دعماً اقتصادياً وهي تعرف أنه سيذهب هباءً في ظل تلك الأوضاع، ولا أن تسمح لمستثمريها وعموم مواطنيها بالذهاب إلى بلد بلا قوانين ضامنة لحماية الأموال والأرواح. ورغم ذلك فقد كان للمملكة دور أساسي وكبير في دعم المرحلة الجديدة سياسياً، التي جاءت بالرئيس جوزيف عون ورئيس الوزراء نواف سلام، كما وظفت علاقاتها الدولية لمساعدة إخراج لبنان من أزمته المتشعبة المزمنة، لكن هناك أطرافاً خارجية وداخلية ما زالت تستهويها المقامرة بلبنان وشعبه، لا تريد له الخروج من فلكها. هذه الأيدي العابثة هي التي يجب على الدولة اللبنانية والشعب اللبناني تحييدها من تشكيل المشهد اللبناني كي تبدأ مرحلة التعافي كخطوة أساسية في رحلة النمو والازدهار المأمول.

نحن مع لبنان، لكن عليه أن يكون مع نفسه أولاً لنكون معه.

This is the wish of all sincere lovers of Lebanon, who feel compassion for it amid the severe troubles it has endured and continues to face. They want it to truly “revive,” not just in terms of architectural construction, but to restore its security, cultural, social, and economic vitality that once attracted people from all corners of the world, when Lebanon was an oasis of exceptional beauty in everything.

For a long time, calamities have beset Lebanon to the point that it seems they have become its permanent fate, yet it surprises us after every cycle of destruction, no matter how prolonged, with its ability to rise again and cling to life. This has happened many times, and here we are this time waiting for the Lebanese phoenix to shake off the ashes and spread its wings anew, soaring into the realm of life it deserves.

We say this because there are signs of hope despite all the troubling circumstances, the latest of which was reported by Reuters news agency about a high-ranking Saudi source confirming that a Saudi delegation will visit Lebanon soon to discuss removing the obstacles facing Lebanese exports to the Kingdom. The source pointed out that Lebanon has proven its efficiency in reducing drug smuggling into the Kingdom. The report also mentioned that the advisor to the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, tasked with following up on the Lebanon file, Prince Yazeed bin Farhan, is expected to arrive in Beirut very soon, leading a commercial and economic delegation comprising 27 Saudi figures from various investment sectors. This visit carries both an economic and political significance, as it serves as a serious test of the Lebanese state’s readiness to commit to a clear reform path that ensures a safe investment environment and enhances the Kingdom’s confidence in the potential for partnership with Lebanon, opening transparent and secure investment channels.

Saudi Arabia has always stood by Lebanon in all circumstances and in various forms of support. However, when Lebanon found itself in a significant institutional vacuum, with dangerous external interventions and armed influences not subject to state authority, it became impossible for Saudi Arabia to provide economic support knowing it would go to waste under such conditions, nor could it allow its investors and citizens to go to a country without laws guaranteeing the protection of funds and lives. Nevertheless, the Kingdom has played a fundamental and significant role in politically supporting the new phase that brought President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to power. It has also leveraged its international relations to help extricate Lebanon from its chronic multifaceted crisis. However, there are still external and internal parties that are tempted to gamble with Lebanon and its people, not wanting it to break free from their orbit. These meddling hands are what the Lebanese state and the Lebanese people must neutralize from shaping the Lebanese scene so that the recovery phase can begin as a fundamental step in the journey of anticipated growth and prosperity.

We are with Lebanon, but it must first be with itself for us to be with it.
