أعلنت الولايات المتحدة التوصل إلى تفاهم بين إسرائيل ولبنان يقضي بتنفيذ وقف لإطلاق النار برعاية أمريكية، يتضمن إنشاء «مناطق تجريبية» يتولى الجيش اللبناني السيطرة الحصرية عليها، في خطوة وصفتها واشنطن بأنها تمهّد لتعزيز سلطة الدولة اللبنانية على الأرض.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية أن الاتفاق ينص على استبعاد العناصر غير الحكومية من تلك المناطق، بما يضمن بسط نفوذ المؤسسات الرسمية اللبنانية وتوسيع دور الجيش في حفظ الأمن والاستقرار.
وقف النار بشروط
وأوضحت الخارجية الأمريكية أن تنفيذ وقف إطلاق النار يبقى مشروطاً بوقف الأعمال العسكرية من قبل حزب الله، مشيرة إلى أن الاتفاق جاء بعد جولات مكثفة من المحادثات بين الجانبين برعاية أمريكية.
وفي السياق ذاته، نقل موقع «أكسيوس» عن مصادر مطلعة أن إسرائيل ولبنان توصلا إلى تفاهم بشأن خطة لوقف إطلاق نار شامل، على أن يرتبط تنفيذها باتخاذ إجراءات وتدابير محددة متفق عليها بين الطرفين.
تمهيد لاتفاق أشمل
ورأت واشنطن أن خطوات فرض السيطرة الحصرية للجيش اللبناني على مناطق محددة يمكن أن تمهد الطريق نحو اتفاق أشمل للسلام والأمن بين لبنان وإسرائيل مستقبلاً.
وشددت الخارجية الأمريكية على أن مستقبل العلاقات بين البلدين يجب أن تحدده الحكومتان السياديتان وحدهما، مؤكدة رفض أي تدخل من دول أو جهات غير تابعة للدولة في رسم مستقبل لبنان أو التأثير على قراراته السيادية.
واشنطن: القرار بيد الدولتين
وأكدت الخارجية الأمريكية أن أي ترتيبات مستقبلية يجب أن تستند إلى إرادة الحكومتين اللبنانية والإسرائيلية، مع السعي إلى بناء علاقة خالية من النيات العدائية المتبادلة، رغم الإقرار بأن الوصول إلى هذه المرحلة ما زال يتطلب مزيداً من الخطوات والإجراءات على الأرض.

Ceasefire with Conditions
The U.S. State Department clarified that the implementation of the ceasefire remains conditional on the cessation of military actions by Hezbollah, noting that the agreement came after intensive rounds of talks between the two sides under American sponsorship.
In the same context, Axios reported from informed sources that Israel and Lebanon reached an understanding regarding a plan for a comprehensive ceasefire, with its implementation linked to specific agreed-upon measures and actions between the two parties.
Paving the Way for a Broader Agreement
Washington believes that steps to enforce the exclusive control of the Lebanese army over specific areas could pave the way for a broader agreement on peace and security between Lebanon and Israel in the future.
The U.S. State Department emphasized that the future of relations between the two countries should be determined solely by the two sovereign governments, rejecting any interference from foreign countries or entities in shaping Lebanon’s future or influencing its sovereign decisions.

The U.S. State Department confirmed that any future arrangements must be based on the will of the Lebanese and Israeli governments, while striving to build a relationship free from mutual hostile intentions, despite acknowledging that reaching this stage still requires further steps and actions on the ground.
