فيما تواصل إسرائيل وحزب الله التصعيد في جنوب لبنان، كشفت مصادر لبنانية اليوم (الثلاثاء) أن الوفد اللبناني المكوّن من 6 ضباط يستعد لمغادرة بيروت للالتحاق باللجنة التي يرأسها السفير السابق في الولايات المتحدة سيمون كرم، والتي ستعقد اجتماعاً في إسرائيل الجمعة لبحث المسار الأمني للاتفاق المنتظر، بعد 3 جولات من المفاوضات السياسية.
وأفادت المصادر بأن الوفد العسكري اللبناني يضم 6 ضباط على رأسهم مدير العمليات العميد جورج رزق الله، إضافة إلى ضابطين قانونيين وآخرين من الاستخبارات، مبينة أن الاجتماع سيكون تقنياً بامتياز، وسيناقش المسار الأمني المتعلق بتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار، ومهام الجيش اللبناني في الجنوب، والعراقيل التي واجهته نتيجة عدم انسحاب الجيش الإسرائيلي.
وأوضحت المصادر أن الوفد العسكري اللبناني سيؤكد أن أي خطوة لانتشار الجيش على الحدود تتطلب معدات وتجهيزات، كما سيطلب من الجانب الإسرائيلي تحديد موعد الانسحاب من جنوب لبنان وبأي آلية، بما يسمح بانتشار الجيش اللبناني في تلك المناطق.
ولفتت إلى أن اللجنة ستبحث أيضاً ملف سحب سلاح حزب الله في شمال الليطاني وبيروت، إلى جانب المطالبة بتوفير التجهيزات الكافية والمعدات للجيش، التي وعدت الولايات المتحدة بتقديمها.
وكانت واشنطن قد استضافت 3 جولات من المفاوضات المباشرة بين لبنان وإسرائيل، بهدف التوصل إلى اتفاق ينهي الحرب.
ميدانياً، قالت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام إن غارة إسرائيلية قتلت مسعفاً وأصابت اثنين آخرين في استهداف مركز صحي تابع لجمعية الرسالة للإسعاف في بلدة صريفا جنوب البلاد.
في غضون ذلك، ذكرت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير الدفاع يسرائيل كاتس يجريان مشاورات أمنية حالية تبحث الجبهتين اللبنانية والإيرانية.
As Israel and Hezbollah continue to escalate tensions in southern Lebanon, Lebanese sources revealed today (Tuesday) that a Lebanese delegation consisting of 6 officers is preparing to leave Beirut to join the committee chaired by former U.S. ambassador Simon Karam, which will hold a meeting in Israel on Friday to discuss the security track of the anticipated agreement, following 3 rounds of political negotiations.
The sources indicated that the Lebanese military delegation includes 6 officers, led by Operations Director Brigadier General George Rizkallah, in addition to two legal officers and others from intelligence, noting that the meeting will be highly technical and will discuss the security track related to stabilizing the ceasefire, the tasks of the Lebanese army in the south, and the obstacles it faced due to the lack of withdrawal of the Israeli army.
The sources clarified that the Lebanese military delegation will assert that any step for the army’s deployment on the borders requires equipment and supplies, and will request the Israeli side to specify a withdrawal date from southern Lebanon and the mechanism for this, allowing for the deployment of the Lebanese army in those areas.
It was pointed out that the committee will also discuss the issue of withdrawing Hezbollah’s weapons in northern Litani and Beirut, alongside the demand for adequate supplies and equipment for the army, which the United States has promised to provide.
Washington had hosted 3 rounds of direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, aiming to reach an agreement that ends the war.
On the ground, the National News Agency reported that an Israeli airstrike killed a paramedic and injured two others in an attack on a health center belonging to the Al-Risala Association for Ambulance in the town of Sarifa in the south of the country.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz are currently holding security consultations addressing the Lebanese and Iranian fronts.
