ويأتي العيد بعد الحج محمّلاً بمعنى مختلف فهو عيدٌ يكتسب قدسيته من قربه من موسم عظيم، ويأخذ بُعده الاجتماعي من امتداد أثر الحج في النفوس، حيث تعود الأسر إلى بيوتها وهي أكثر صفاءً وأكثر امتناناً وأكثر قرباً من الله ومن بعضهم البعض، فبعد أيام الحج وكامتداد لفرح إيماني عميق، لكنه في السياق الوطني يتحوّل إلى لوحة من البهجة العامة التي تشمل المدن والقرى، وتلتقي فيها القلوب على المحبة والصفاء، ترى الشوارع تتزيّن، والمجالس تعود إلى دفئها، والأسر تفتح أبوابها للتهاني والزيارات، وكأن الوطن كله يدخل في حالة من التآلف الإنساني الذي يعكس قوة المجتمع السعودي وتماسكه ولله الحمد والشكر.
