شدد وكيل محافظة شبوة سالم أحمد النسي على أن المعركة ضد الإرهاب الحوثي حاسمة ولا تراجع فيها حتى قطع دابر المخططات الإيرانية في اليمن، مؤكداً في تصريح لـ «عكاظ» أن الأجهزة الأمنية والعسكرية في المحافظة نجحت في إجهاض مخططات المليشيا الإرهابية التخريبية في مهدها، إثر ضربة استباقية خاطفة لقوة التدخل السريع، أسفرت عن الإطاحة بخلية إرهابية تضم 13 عنصراً حوثياً.
وأوضح النسي أن العملية النوعية مكنت رجال الأمن من ضبط ترسانة أسلحة ضخمة تتجاوز 1000 قطعة سلاح متنوعة وكميات من المتفجرات شديدة الخطورة كانت بحوزة عناصر الخلية، مشيراً إلى أن هذا الإنجاز يعكس الكفاءة الاحترافية والجاهزية العالية للمؤسسة الأمنية والعسكرية، ويسهم بشكل مباشر في صون الاستقرار وحماية السكينة العامة.
وحول تفاصيل السقوط المدوّي للخلية الإرهابية، بيّن وكيل شبوة أن الإطاحة بعناصرها جاءت ثمرة جهود استخباراتية وميدانية من الرصد والمتابعة الدقيقة، لافتاً إلى أن الجهات المختصة تواصل إجراءات التحقيق والتحري المكثف للكشف عن الأبعاد الكاملة للمخطط الإرهابي، وتفكيك شبكات التواصل والجهات المرتبطة به، تمهيداً لإحالة المقبوض عليهم إلى العدالة لنيل جزائهم الرادع.
ولفت النسي إلى أن هذا النجاح الأمني الباهر يتوج تكامل الأدوار بين مختلف الوحدات الأمنية والعسكرية، والتطور المتنامي في القدرات الاستخباراتية والميدانية للقوات، مؤكداً أن محاولات مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية اليائسة لاستهداف الجبهة الداخلية وزعزعة السلم الاجتماعي عبر زرع الخلايا وتغذية أنشطة التهريب ستتحطم على صخرة يقظة الأجهزة الأمنية التي ستكون بالمرصاد لكل من تسوّل له نفسه العبث بأمن شبوة أو المساس بمكتسبات أبنائها.
وأشار إلى أن السلطة المحلية تعمل وفق خطة أمنية متكاملة لرفع كفاءة الوحدات الأمنية وتأمين المنافذ، مشدداً على أن حماية المنشآت الحيوية والمصالح العامة والخاصة خط أحمر لا تهاون فيه. وأشاد بمواقف أعيان وأبناء شبوة وتكاتفهم الوثيق مع رجال الأمن، والذي يشكل السد المنيع لقطع دابر الإرهاب الحوثي.
واختتم النسي تصريحه بالشكر والتقدير لتحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية، معرباً عن امتنانه للدعم السخي والمواقف الأخوية الصادقة التي تقدمها المملكة لإسناد شبوة أمنياً وتنموياً. ولفت إلى أن هذا الدعم الأخوي المستمر يجسد عمق الروابط التاريخية الممتدة والمصير المشترك الذي يجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
The Deputy Governor of Shabwa, Salem Ahmed Al-Nasi, emphasized that the battle against Houthi terrorism is decisive and there is no retreat until the Iranian plots in Yemen are cut off. He confirmed in a statement to “Okaz” that the security and military agencies in the governorate have succeeded in thwarting the plans of the terrorist militia at their inception, following a swift preemptive strike by the rapid intervention force, which resulted in the dismantling of a terrorist cell comprising 13 Houthi elements.
Al-Nasi explained that the qualitative operation enabled security forces to seize a massive arsenal of weapons exceeding 1,000 assorted firearms and quantities of highly dangerous explosives that were in the possession of the cell’s elements. He pointed out that this achievement reflects the professional efficiency and high readiness of the security and military institution, directly contributing to preserving stability and protecting public tranquility.
Regarding the details of the dramatic downfall of the terrorist cell, the Deputy Governor of Shabwa indicated that the dismantling of its elements was the result of intelligence and field efforts involving precise monitoring and follow-up. He noted that the relevant authorities continue intensive investigation and inquiry procedures to uncover the full dimensions of the terrorist plot and dismantle the networks and entities connected to it, in preparation for referring those arrested to justice to receive their deterrent punishment.
Al-Nasi pointed out that this remarkable security success crowns the integration of roles among various security and military units, and the growing development in the intelligence and field capabilities of the forces. He affirmed that the desperate attempts by the Houthi terrorist militia to target the internal front and destabilize social peace through planting cells and fueling smuggling activities will be shattered against the rock of the vigilance of the security agencies, which will be on guard against anyone who dares to tamper with the security of Shabwa or undermine the gains of its people.
He indicated that the local authority is working according to a comprehensive security plan to enhance the efficiency of security units and secure the outlets, stressing that the protection of vital facilities and public and private interests is a red line that cannot be compromised. He praised the positions of the dignitaries and people of Shabwa and their close solidarity with the security forces, which forms a strong barrier to cut off Houthi terrorism.
Al-Nasi concluded his statement by expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing his gratitude for the generous support and sincere fraternal positions provided by the Kingdom to support Shabwa both security-wise and development-wise. He noted that this continuous fraternal support embodies the depth of the extended historical ties and the shared destiny that unites the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
