The Deputy Governor of Shabwa, Ali Mohsen Al-Sulaimani, held the terrorist Houthi militia fully responsible for the attack that targeted the training center in the Al-Alam area, indicating that the cowardly terrorist assault resulted in the death of 53 soldiers and injured more than 200 others from the participants in the internal security training courses in the governorate.
Al-Sulaimani told “Okaz”: The local authority in Shabwa holds the terrorist Houthi militia fully accountable for this heinous terrorist attack and the significant human losses it caused among the people of the governorate, expressing the authority’s condemnation in the strongest terms for this attack, which reflects the terrorist and criminal face of the Houthi militia.
He pointed out that Shabwa will remain resilient, and this cowardly act will only increase its determination and steadfastness to defend the governorate with its sons stationed at the front lines and various battlefields.
Al-Sulaimani added: “This terrorist act will not deter us from continuing our battle against this militia wherever it may be found, and it will never overcome us; just as Shabwa taught it a harsh lesson in 2015 when it expelled the Houthis and rejected their presence, the governorate stands today united and in one row to confront the Houthi threat.”
Regarding the implementation of the directives of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, to support the families of the deceased and injured, Al-Sulaimani said: Immediately, the Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Mwazir, implemented the directives and urgently disbursed their salaries, in addition to fully covering the treatment of the injured in public and private hospitals, and transferring cases that require specialized centers.
The Deputy Governor praised the popular mobilization and the honorable national stance of the people of Shabwa, who flocked from all areas to the hospitals to donate blood and stand united alongside their injured brothers, affirming that this community solidarity sends a clear message that all of Shabwa stands as a strong wall against the terrorist Houthi militia.
The Deputy Governor of Shabwa expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for its sincere brotherly positions and the continuous support and assistance it provides, appreciating the role of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom and its unlimited support for the Yemeni army and security forces.
