وبحسب شهود عيان، كان الثعبان ملتفًا أسفل المروحة الدوارة دون أي انزعاج من الضوضاء المحيطة، ما جعل الموقف يبدو أكثر خطورة على غير المطلعين بسلوكيات الحياة البرية.

وأكد خبراء الحياة البرية أن الثعبان من نوع ثعبان الجرذان الهندي غير السام، وينتشر عادة في المناطق الحضرية وشبه الحضرية، مشيرين إلى دوره الحيوي في مكافحة القوارض والحفاظ على التوازن البيئي رغم المخاطر المحتملة عند ظهوره في أماكن مأهولة.
