كشف موقع صحيفة التايمز البريطانية خسائر عدة مُدمِّرة ستلحق بالاقتصاد الإيراني جراء الحصار البحري الأمريكي لمضيق هرمز.
ويفرض أي حصار بحري على مضيق هرمز كلفة اقتصادية مباشرة على إيران تقارب 435 مليون دولار يومياً.
ويدخل الاقتصاد الإيراني في سباق مع الزمن، إذ إن خزانات آبار النفط تمتلئ خلال 13 يوماً، وتغلق الآبار مع أضرار دائمة لها.
وتتضمن الخسائر فقدان صادرات بـ276 مليون دولار يومياً، وتعطيل واردات تقدر بـ159 مليون دولار يومياً، لتبلغ الخسائر 13 مليار دولار شهرياً؛ الأمر الذي سيؤدي إلى انهيار عملة الريال الإيراني.
The British Times newspaper revealed the devastating losses that will be inflicted on the Iranian economy due to the American naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
Any naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz imposes a direct economic cost on Iran of approximately 435 million dollars per day.
The Iranian economy is in a race against time, as oil well tanks fill up within 13 days, and the wells are closed with permanent damage to them.
The losses include the loss of exports worth 276 million dollars per day and the disruption of imports estimated at 159 million dollars per day, bringing the total losses to 13 billion dollars monthly; a situation that will lead to the collapse of the Iranian rial currency.
