في أمسية امتزج فيها عبق التاريخ بجمال الحاضر، وتزامنًا مع الاحتفاء باليوم العالمي للكتاب، نظمت جمعية الأدب المهنية (ممثلة بسفرائها في صبيا) فعالية أدبية وثقافية نوعية تحت عنوان: «صبيا الذاكرة والتاريخ: الموروث الشعبي والشعري» وسط حضور لافت من النخب الأدبية، والمثقفين، والإعلاميين.
استضافت الأمسية الكاتب حسين بن ضيف الله مريع الذي استعرض في حديثه كتابًا يختصر حكاية الأرض والإنسان في صبيا، مبرزًا الموروث الشعبي والشعري الذي يمثل الهوية الأصيلة للمنطقة. وأدار الحوار عبدالكريم الحميد الذي قاد دفة الحديث نحو استنطاق الذاكرة الجمعية للمكان.
وتطرق مريع خلال الفعالية إلى تفاصيل دقيقة من تاريخ صبيا وعاداتها القديمة، مسلطًا الضوء على: التعليم قديمًا: بداياته، وتحدياته، والكتاتيب التي خرجت أجيالًا من المثقفين، وبدايات الشغف الرياضي في المنطقة وتطوره.
واستعرض «مريع» بأسلوب شيق فرحة الأهالي قديمًا باستقبال شهر رمضان المبارك، وطقوس الأعياد التي كانت تجمع القلوب قبل الأجساد، كما عرض بعضًا من النصوص الشعرية التي تغنت بصبيا. وقد شهدت الأمسية مداخلات ثرية من المثقفين والإعلاميين الذين أثروا النقاش برؤاهم حول أهمية توثيق التاريخ الشفهي والمكتوب للمنطقة.
وفي ختام الفعالية، قام ممثلو «سفراء صبيا» بتقديم شهادات الشكر والتقدير لحسين مريع، والمحاور عبدالكريم الحميد؛ تقديرًا لعطائهما المعرفي.
وتأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن سلسلة من المبادرات التي تسعى من خلالها جمعية الأدب المهنية إلى تعزيز الوعي الثقافي، وربط الأجيال الجديدة بموروثهم الأدبي والتاريخي.
On an evening where the fragrance of history blended with the beauty of the present, coinciding with the celebration of World Book Day, the Professional Literature Association (represented by its ambassadors in Sabya) organized a unique literary and cultural event titled: “Sabya: Memory and History – The Popular and Poetic Heritage,” amidst a notable presence of literary elites, intellectuals, and media professionals.
The evening hosted writer Hussein bin Dhiif Allah Murri, who, in his talk, reviewed a book that encapsulates the story of the land and its people in Sabya, highlighting the popular and poetic heritage that represents the authentic identity of the region. The discussion was moderated by Abdul Karim Al-Humaid, who steered the conversation towards exploring the collective memory of the place.
During the event, Murri touched on intricate details of Sabya’s history and its ancient customs, shedding light on: education in the past, its beginnings, challenges, and the traditional schools that produced generations of intellectuals, as well as the beginnings and evolution of sports enthusiasm in the region.
Murri engagingly recounted the joy of the locals in the past upon welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, and the festive rituals that brought hearts together before bodies, while also presenting some poetic texts that celebrated Sabya. The evening witnessed rich interventions from intellectuals and media professionals who enriched the discussion with their insights on the importance of documenting the oral and written history of the region.
At the conclusion of the event, representatives of “Ambassadors of Sabya” presented certificates of appreciation to Hussein Murri and moderator Abdul Karim Al-Humaid, in recognition of their intellectual contributions.
This event is part of a series of initiatives through which the Professional Literature Association seeks to enhance cultural awareness and connect new generations with their literary and historical heritage.
