دانت مصر بأشد العبارات الخطوة غير القانونية والمرفوضة المتمثلة في إقدام ما يسمى «إقليم أرض الصومال» على افتتاح سفارة مزعومة له في مدينة القدس المحتلة، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي وقرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة، وبما يمثل مساسا مباشرا بالوضع القانوني والتاريخي لمدينة القدس المحتلة.
وأكدت مصر بحسب بيان صادر عن وزارة الخارحية، اليوم (الخميس)، رفضها الكامل لأي إجراءات أحادية تستهدف تكريس واقع غير قانوني في القدس المحتلة أو منح شرعية لأي كيانات أو ترتيبات تخالف قواعد القانون الدولي وقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، مجددة التأكيد على أن القدس الشرقية أرض فلسطينية محتلة منذ عام 1967، وأن أي خطوات تهدف إلى تغيير وضعها القانوني والتاريخي تعد باطلة ولاغية ولا يترتب عليها أي أثر قانوني.
كما شددت مصر على دعمها الكامل لوحدة وسيادة جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية وسلامة أراضيها والرفض الكامل لأي إجراءات أحادية تمس وحدة الأراضي الصومالية أو تنتقص من سيادتها.
Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the illegal and rejected step represented by the so-called “Somaliland” opening a supposed embassy in the occupied city of Jerusalem, in a blatant violation of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, which directly affects the legal and historical status of the occupied city of Jerusalem.
Egypt confirmed, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Thursday), its complete rejection of any unilateral actions aimed at entrenching an illegal reality in the occupied Jerusalem or granting legitimacy to any entities or arrangements that violate the rules of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, reiterating that East Jerusalem is Palestinian land occupied since 1967, and that any steps aimed at changing its legal and historical status are considered null and void and have no legal effect.
Egypt also emphasized its full support for the unity and sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia and the integrity of its territory, and its complete rejection of any unilateral actions that affect the unity of Somali territory or undermine its sovereignty.
