فيما تؤكد إيران أنها تضع اللمسات النهائية لمذكرة تفاهم مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وتنتظر رد واشنطن، عرض الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب اليوم (السبت) صورة لخريطة إيران ووضع عليها علم أمريكا.
واكتفى ترمب بنشر خريطة المنطقة ووضع علم أمريكا على كامل المناطق الإيرانية، على منصته «تروث سيشال» دون أي تعليق.
وجاء نشر ترمب للخريطة في الوقت الذي غادر فيه قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير طهران، وبحسب وكالة فارس فإن قائد الجيش الباكستاني أكد أن مسار المفاوضات يتقدم بشكل جيد.
في غضون ذلك، أعلن المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، تسليم طهران للوسيط الباكستاني مذكرة تفاهم مع الولايات المتحدة، موضحاً أن مذكرة التفاهم تشمل 14 بنداً لإنهاء الحرب والتفاصيل تبحث ضمن مدة من 30 إلى 60 يوماً.
وأشارت إلى أن مهلة التفاوض ستبدأ فور التوافق على مذكرة التفاهم، لافتاً إلى أنه ليس بإمكان إيران أن تقدم تنازلات أكثر مما تنص عليها مذكرة التفاهم.
ولفت إلى أن إحدى القضايا المهمة في المفاوضات مع واشنطن، تتمثل في ما وصفه بـ«القرصنة» الأمريكية المتعلقة بالحصار البحري، لكن «إنهاء الحرب هو أولويتنا بما في ذلك لبنان».
وأضاف بقائي، عملية التفاوض ستستغرق وقتا طويلاً والعداء الأمريكي تجاه إيران طويل الأمد لذلك لا يمكن توقع التوصل إلى نتيجة في وقت قصير، موضحاً أن «مضيق هرمز لا علاقة له بأمريكا، والأمر بيننا وبين الدول المشاطئة للمضيق».
وأشار إلى أن المواقف مع أمريكا تتقارب لكن قضية الإفراج عن الأصول المجمدة تحتاج توضيحاً، مضيفاً: «قريبون جداً وبعيدون جدا أيضاً من التوصل لاتفاق بسبب تجاربنا مع مواقف أمريكا المتناقضة».
بدورها، نقلت وسائل إعلام عربية عن مصادر إيرانية قولها إن طهران سلمت الوسيط الباكستاني مذكرة تفاهم لعرضها على واشنطن، وبحسب المصادر فإن المذكرة تشمل إنهاء الحرب ورفع الحصار وفتح «هرمز» ومغادرة قوات أمريكا منطقة الحرب.
وأكدت المصادر أن المذكرة لا تشمل القضايا النووية لأنها معقدة وتحتاج إلى وقت كافٍ للتفاوض، مبينة أن المذكرة حددت بعد 30 يوماً من الاتفاق يمكن فتح باب للمفاوضات النووية.
في المقابل، قال وزير الخارجية الأمريكي ماركو روبيو: قد تكون هناك أنباء جديدة بشأن إيران اليوم، مضيفاً: تم إحراز بعض التقدم في المفاوضات مع إيران وقد نعلن عن شيء قريباً.
وأشار إلى أن القضية النووية عاجلة ويجب بقاء مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً، مشدداً على ضرورة تسليم إيران اليورانيوم المخصب.
While Iran confirms that it is finalizing a memorandum of understanding with the United States and is awaiting Washington’s response, U.S. President Donald Trump today (Saturday) shared an image of a map of Iran with the American flag placed over it.
Trump simply posted the map of the region with the American flag covering all Iranian areas on his platform “Truth Social” without any comment.
The release of the map by Trump came at a time when the Pakistani army chief, Asim Munir, was leaving Tehran, and according to Fars news agency, the Pakistani army chief confirmed that the negotiations are progressing well.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei announced that Tehran has handed over a memorandum of understanding to the Pakistani mediator for presentation to the United States, explaining that the memorandum includes 14 points aimed at ending the war, with details to be discussed within a period of 30 to 60 days.
He noted that the negotiation period will begin as soon as the memorandum is agreed upon, pointing out that Iran cannot make concessions beyond what is stipulated in the memorandum.
He highlighted that one of the important issues in negotiations with Washington is what he described as American “piracy” related to the maritime blockade, but “ending the war is our priority, including Lebanon.”
Baqaei added that the negotiation process will take a long time, and the longstanding American hostility towards Iran means that a quick resolution cannot be expected, clarifying that “the Strait of Hormuz has nothing to do with America; the matter is between us and the neighboring countries of the strait.”
He pointed out that positions with America are converging, but the issue of releasing frozen assets needs clarification, adding: “We are very close yet also very far from reaching an agreement due to our experiences with America’s contradictory positions.”
For its part, Arab media reported that Iranian sources stated that Tehran has handed the Pakistani mediator a memorandum of understanding to present to Washington, and according to the sources, the memorandum includes ending the war, lifting the blockade, opening “Hormuz,” and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the war zone.
The sources confirmed that the memorandum does not include nuclear issues because they are complex and require sufficient time for negotiation, indicating that the memorandum specifies that after 30 days from the agreement, a door can be opened for nuclear negotiations.
In contrast, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said: There may be new news regarding Iran today, adding: Some progress has been made in negotiations with Iran, and we may announce something soon.
He pointed out that the nuclear issue is urgent and the Strait of Hormuz must remain open, emphasizing the necessity for Iran to deliver enriched uranium.
