في مشهد سينمائي حبس أنفاس الشارع الكويتي، تحول فرع ممتلئ بالعملاء لإحدى شركات الصرافة الشهيرة في منطقة «الشعب» إلى ساحة رعب حقيقية، بعدما اقتحم ملثّم مجهول المكان مدججاً بما بدا كأنه سلاح ناري وعبوة حارقة، لينجح في بث الذعر وشل حركة الموظفين، مستولياً على آلاف الدنانير قبل أن يختفي في لمح البصر وسط حالة استنفار أمني قصوى.
وتعود تفاصيل الجريمة إلى بلاغ عاجل تلقته غرفة العمليات بوزارة الداخلية الكويتية، يفيد باقتحام شخص يخفي ملامحه بالكامل للشركة، حاملاً مسدساً وعبوة مملوءة بسائل يشتبه في أنه «بنزين»، مهدداً بإحراق المكان ومن فيه إذا لم ينصع الجميع لأوامره، الأمر الذي أجبر الموظفين على الخضوع التام لحماية الأرواح.
الملثم يسحل الموظفين ويسرق عملات مختلفة
لم يكتفِ المتهم بالتهديد اللفظي، بل تجاوز كل الخطوط الحمراء مستخدماً العنف الجسدي لفرض سيطرته، فقام الجاني بالاعتداء بالضرب على عدد من الموظفين، قبل أن يقفز إلى المنطقة المحظورة خلف «الكاونتر»، ممسكاً بالحقائب ليجمع ما قيمته 21 ألف دينار كويتي من عملات مختلفة، ويلوذ بالفرار تاركاً خلفه دوامة من الذهول والهلع. وسرعان ما تحركت قطاعات الأمن الجنائي والمباحث فوراً، وتم تمشيط المنطقة واستخدام أحدث تقنيات التتبع والتحليل الفني لكاميرات المراقبة، لتبدأ عملية مطاردة هوليودية لفك خيوط اللغز.
ولم تستغرق التحريات المكثفة سوى ساعات قليلة حتى فجرت المفاجأة الكبرى، إذ تمكنت القوات الأمنية من تحديد هوية العقل المدبر وضبطه في كمين محكم، وتبين أنه يحمل الجنسية الفلبينية.
لكن الصدمة الأكبر التي كشفتها التحقيقات الأولية، تمثلت في أن السلاح الناري المرعب الذي جمد دماء الموظفين واهتزت له المنطقة لم يكن سوى «سلاح مزيف» (مسدس لعبة)، اعتمد فيه المتهم على الترهيب النفسي والخدعة البصرية لتنفيذ عملية السطو الجريئة. وجرى تحريز الأموال المستردة وإحالة المتهم إلى جهات التحقيق ليلقى جزاءه، في واقعة أثبتت مجدداً أن يقظة الأمن الكويتي قادرة على إسقاط أعتى المحترفين في وقت قياسي.

The details of the crime trace back to an urgent report received by the operations room of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, indicating that a person completely concealing their features had stormed the company, carrying a gun and a container filled with a liquid suspected to be “gasoline,” threatening to set the place and everyone in it on fire if everyone did not comply with their orders, which forced the employees to fully submit to the protection of lives.
The Masked Man Drags Employees and Steals Various Currencies
The accused did not stop at verbal threats but crossed all red lines using physical violence to impose control. The perpetrator assaulted several employees before jumping into the restricted area behind the “counter,” grabbing bags to collect the equivalent of 21,000 Kuwaiti dinars in various currencies, and fled, leaving behind a whirlwind of shock and panic. Security and criminal investigation sectors quickly mobilized, combing the area and using the latest tracking technologies and technical analysis of surveillance cameras, to begin a Hollywood-style chase to unravel the mystery.
Intensive investigations took only a few hours to reveal a major surprise, as security forces managed to identify the mastermind and apprehend him in a well-planned ambush, discovering that he held Filipino nationality.
However, the biggest shock revealed by the initial investigations was that the terrifying firearm that froze the employees’ blood and shook the area was nothing more than a “fake weapon” (a toy gun), with the accused relying on psychological intimidation and visual deception to execute the bold robbery. The recovered money was secured, and the accused was referred to the investigation authorities to face justice, in an incident that once again proved that the vigilance of Kuwaiti security is capable of bringing down even the most skilled professionals in record time.
