أبدى المدير الفني للمنتخب السعودي«دونيس»، رضاه عن نتيجة التعادل 1-1 أمام منتخب الأوروغواي، في افتتاح مشوار «الأخضر» بكأس العالم 2026، جاء ذلك خلال المؤتمر الصحفي بعد المباراة، مشيرًا إلى أن الجهاز الفني ما زال في مرحلة بناء الانسجام والتعرف على قدرات اللاعبين بشكل كامل، موضحاً أن خبرة وقوة المنتخب الأوروغواياني جعلت التعادل نتيجة مقبولة في بداية المشوار.
وقال: «قدمنا أداءً جيدًا في الشوط الأول من حيث التنظيم والتحكم في رتم اللعب، وتمكنا من وقف خطورة الخصم»، مؤكدًا أن بناء فريق متكامل يحتاج إلى وقت أكبر وتدرج في التطور الفني، مشيداً بالمستوى الذي قدمه اللاعبون طوال المباراة.
