منحت جمهورية المالديف الإعلامي جمال محمد الدوبحي لقب «سفير السلام العالمي»، تقديراً لجهوده البارزة في ترسيخ قيم الوسطية والاعتدال ونشر ثقافة السلام والتسامح بين الشعوب.
وأشادت وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والأوقاف في المالديف بإسهامات الدوبحي ومبادراته الإعلامية والإبداعية في تعزيز ثقافة التعايش السلمي والحوار البنّاء، من خلال المحتوى الهادف الذي يقدمه عبر مختلف الوسائل الإعلامية ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي، مؤكدة دوره في مواجهة خطابات التطرف والكراهية وتعزيز مفاهيم الأخوة الإنسانية.
من جهته، أكد وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والأوقاف في المالديف الدكتور محمد شهيم علي سعيد أن جهود الدوبحي أسهمت في بناء جسور التواصل بين الثقافات والأديان المختلفة، وترسيخ مفاهيم الحوار الحضاري والسلام العالمي، مشيراً إلى نجاحه في تقديم خطاب إعلامي متزن وواعٍ يدعم قيم الاعتدال وينبذ العنف والتمييز والتعصب.
وثمّن الوزير المالديفي ما قدمه الدوبحي من جهود نوعية في هذا المجال، متمنياً له دوام التوفيق والنجاح في رسالته الإنسانية والإعلامية.
The Republic of Maldives has awarded the media figure Jamal Mohammed Al-Dubahi the title of “Global Peace Ambassador,” in recognition of his outstanding efforts in promoting values of moderation and balance, and spreading a culture of peace and tolerance among peoples.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the Maldives praised Al-Dubahi’s contributions and his media and creative initiatives in enhancing the culture of peaceful coexistence and constructive dialogue, through the purposeful content he provides across various media outlets and social media platforms, emphasizing his role in countering extremist and hateful rhetoric and promoting the concepts of human brotherhood.
For his part, the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, affirmed that Al-Dubahi’s efforts have contributed to building bridges of communication between different cultures and religions, and establishing the concepts of civilizational dialogue and global peace, noting his success in delivering a balanced and conscious media discourse that supports values of moderation and rejects violence, discrimination, and fanaticism.
The Maldivian minister appreciated the qualitative efforts Al-Dubahi has made in this field, wishing him continued success in his humanitarian and media mission.
