أشاد رئيس البرلمان اليمني سلطان البركاني، بالمواقف التاريخية الراسخة للمملكة العربية السعودية، قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، تجاه اليمن وشعبه في مختلف المراحل والظروف، مؤكداً أن العطاء الأخوي السخي الذي تقدمه المملكة يمثل امتداداً لنهجٍ ثابت وعميق لم تبدله الأزمات، وتجسد بشكل جليّ قبل الأزمة وخلالها وفي مواجهة الانقلاب الحوثي.
وقال البركاني، في تدوينة نشرها عبر حسابه الرسمي على منصة «X» اليوم (الثلاثاء)، عقب زيارته مقر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن ولقائه سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى اليمن المشرف العام على البرنامج السفير محمد بن سعيد آل جابر: «سعدت اليوم بزيارة مقر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن، واستمعت من السفير آل جابر إلى عرضٍ شاملٍ للجهود الأخوية الصادقة التي تبذلها المملكة في دعم اليمن وتنميته وإعادة إعمار ما دمرته الحرب، إلى جانب مبادراتها الإنسانية والاقتصادية والتنموية الممتدة في مختلف المجالات».
وأضاف رئيس البرلمان اليمني أن هذا العطاء الأخوي السخي شهدته مختلف المحافظات اليمنية واستفاد منه ملايين اليمنيين، معبراً عن إكباره البالغ لحجم العمل الدؤوب والجهود الاستثنائية التي يضطلع بها السفير محمد آل جابر منذ الأيام الأولى للأزمة؛ إذ ظل حاضراً في ميادين العمل السياسي والتنموي والإنساني، ومواصلاً جهوده دون تردد أو كلل لخدمة اليمن واليمنيين.
ورفع البركاني الشكر والتقدير والامتنان لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، على ما يقدمانه من دعمٍ أخويٍ كريم لليمن وشعبه، مؤكداً أن المواقف النبيلة والمبادرات السعودية ستظل محل تقدير وامتنان دائمين لدى الشعب اليمني.
The President of the Yemeni Parliament, Sultan Al-Barakani, praised the firm historical stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, towards Yemen and its people in various stages and circumstances, affirming that the generous brotherly support provided by the Kingdom represents an extension of a consistent and deep approach that has not been altered by crises, clearly manifested before the crisis, during it, and in facing the Houthi coup.
Al-Barakani said, in a post he published on his official account on the “X” platform today (Tuesday), following his visit to the headquarters of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and his meeting with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Yemen, the General Supervisor of the program, Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber: “I was pleased today to visit the headquarters of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, and I listened from Ambassador Al-Jaber to a comprehensive presentation of the sincere brotherly efforts exerted by the Kingdom in supporting Yemen, its development, and the reconstruction of what the war has destroyed, in addition to its humanitarian, economic, and developmental initiatives extending across various fields.”
The President of the Yemeni Parliament added that this generous brotherly support has been witnessed in various Yemeni governorates and has benefited millions of Yemenis, expressing his deep appreciation for the scale of the diligent work and exceptional efforts undertaken by Ambassador Mohammed Al-Jaber since the early days of the crisis; he has remained present in the fields of political, developmental, and humanitarian work, continuing his efforts without hesitation or fatigue to serve Yemen and its people.
Al-Barakani expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, for their generous brotherly support to Yemen and its people, affirming that the noble stances and Saudi initiatives will always be appreciated and eternally grateful by the Yemeni people.
