في خطوة إستراتيجية تعكس تسارع الخطى نحو تعافي مؤسسات الدولة، وجّه وزير النقل اليمني محسن حيدرة العمري، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني والأرصاد، بفتح الأجواء والمطارات اليمنية بالكامل، ودعا هيئات الطيران المدني كافة (العربية، والإقليمية، والدولية)، والناقلات الجوية العالمية، لتدشين واستئناف رحلاتها إلى اليمن عبر مطار عدن الدولي.
وقال العمري في منشور على حسابه في «إكس» إن مطار عدن الدولي يمثل رمزاً للصمود والتحدي، وبوابة جغرافية وتاريخية بالغة الأهمية للبلاد، وأكّد أن قرار فتح الأجواء ينبع من ثقة القيادة الكاملة في الجاهزية الفنية والتشغيلية التي وصل إليها المطار.
وأضاف وزير النقل اليمني: «حرصنا على رفع الكفاءة التشغيلية للمطار، ومواصلة تقديم مختلف الخدمات الفنية والملاحية واللوجستية وفقاً لأعلى المعايير الدولية المعتمدة من منظمة الطيران المدني الدولي (ICAO)، وهدفنا الأسمى هو ضمان انسيابية الحركة الجوية وسلامة العمليات، لتكون تجربة الطيران من وإلى عدن آمنة وسلسة لكل مسافر ولكل شركة طيران».
ووجه الوزير رسالة طمأنة ودعم لشركات الطيران الراغبة في تسيير رحلاتها إلى اليمن، مؤكداً: «لن تجدوا منا إلا الدعم الكامل، وقد أصدرتُ تعليمات واضحة بتقديم التسهيلات اللازمة كافة والتعاون المرن لتذليل أي عقبات قد تواجه إجراءات التشغيل».
وأشار العمري إلى أن الوزارة تتطلع من خلال هذه الخطوة إلى بناء شراكات مستدامة تُسهم في تنشيط الحركة الاقتصادية والتجارية التي تعتمد بشكل مباشر على النقل الجوي السريع، فضلاً عن تخفيف معاناة المواطنين والمسافرين من خلال توفير خيارات سفر متعددة ووجهات أوسع، وإعادة ربط الإنسان اليمني بالعالم، وفتح آفاق جديدة للمغتربين والزوار والمستثمرين.
واختتم الوزير العمري تدوينته بالتأكيد على أن إرادة التطوير والتحديث لدى الحكومة الشرعية لا تحدها التحديات، مشيداً بالرعاية الكريمة من مجلس القيادة الرئاسي والحكومة.
وثمّن العمري، الدعم الأخوي المستمر واللامحدود من قبل تحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية، مؤكداً أن هذا الدعم الصادق هو الركيزة الأساسية لتبقى الأجواء اليمنية مفتوحة، والمطارات آمنة، لتواصل «أجنحة الطيران» تحليقها نحو غدٍ أفضل يتسع لآمال وتطلعات جميع أبناء الشعب اليمني.
In a strategic move that reflects the accelerating steps towards the recovery of state institutions, Yemeni Minister of Transport Mohsen Haider Al-Amri directed today (Tuesday) the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology to fully open Yemeni airspace and airports. He called on all civil aviation authorities (Arab, regional, and international) and global airlines to launch and resume their flights to Yemen via Aden International Airport.
Al-Amri stated in a post on his account on “X” that Aden International Airport represents a symbol of resilience and challenge, and is a geographically and historically significant gateway for the country. He confirmed that the decision to open the airspace stems from the complete confidence of the leadership in the technical and operational readiness that the airport has achieved.
The Yemeni Minister of Transport added: “We are keen to enhance the operational efficiency of the airport and to continue providing various technical, navigational, and logistical services according to the highest international standards approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Our ultimate goal is to ensure the smooth flow of air traffic and the safety of operations, making the flying experience to and from Aden safe and seamless for every traveler and every airline.”
The minister sent a message of reassurance and support to airlines wishing to operate flights to Yemen, affirming: “You will find nothing but full support from us, and I have issued clear instructions to provide all necessary facilities and flexible cooperation to overcome any obstacles that may face operational procedures.”
Al-Amri pointed out that the ministry looks forward through this step to building sustainable partnerships that contribute to revitalizing the economic and commercial movement, which directly relies on rapid air transport, in addition to alleviating the suffering of citizens and travelers by providing multiple travel options and broader destinations, reconnecting the Yemeni people with the world, and opening new horizons for expatriates, visitors, and investors.
He concluded his post by emphasizing that the will for development and modernization by the legitimate government is not limited by challenges, praising the generous support from the Presidential Leadership Council and the government.
Al-Amri appreciated the continuous and unlimited fraternal support from the Coalition to Support Legitimacy led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming that this sincere support is the cornerstone for keeping Yemeni airspace open and airports safe, allowing “wings of aviation” to soar towards a better tomorrow that accommodates the hopes and aspirations of all the Yemeni people.
