لقي شخص مصرعه وأُصيب أربعة آخرون في زلزال ضرب، اليوم، ولاية (هايشي) في شمال غرب الصين، بقوة بلغت 6.3 درجة على مقياس ريختر.

وذكر مركز شبكات الزلازل الصيني، في بيان، أن الزلزال وقع على عمق 10 كيلومترات، وكان مركزه مقاطعة «تشينغهاي».

من جهته، أفاد مكتب إدارة الطوارئ بأنه تم إرسال فريق عمل ميداني إلى المنطقة المتضررة للمساعدة في جهود الاستجابة للطوارئ، مضيفا أنه جرى تفعيل الاستجابة للطوارئ من المستوى الثاني بالمنطقة المتضررة.

وكان زلزال بقوة خمس درجات قد ضرب نهاية مايو الماضي محافظة (توكسون) بشمال غرب الصين، دون تسجيل ضحايا بشرية.

One person was killed and four others were injured in an earthquake that struck today in the (Haishi) region of northwest China, with a magnitude of 6.3 on the Richter scale.

The Chinese Earthquake Networks Center stated in a report that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, with its epicenter in the “Qinghai” province.

For its part, the Emergency Management Office reported that a field team has been sent to the affected area to assist in emergency response efforts, adding that a level two emergency response has been activated in the affected region.

A magnitude five earthquake had struck the (Tuxun) county in northwest China at the end of May, without any reported casualties.
