أحبط الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي اليوم (الأحد)، هجوماً يستهدف مطار الملك خالد في الرياض بمقذوف.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن اللواء الركن تركي المالكي اليوم (الأحد)، أن الدفاع الجوي اعترض ودمر صاروخ طواف (كروز) في محيط مطار الملك خالد الدولي، مبيناً أن صالة المسافرين رقم 4 بالمطار تعرضت لاعتداء بمقذوف مجهول.
وأشار إلى أن الاعتداء نتج عنه حريق ويجري مباشرة الموقع من الجهات المختصة.
وكانت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني أعلنت أمس، تعرض مطار الملك خالد الدولي بالرياض لاعتداء وذلك في ظل استمرار الاعتداءات السافرة التي تستهدف مرافق الطيران المدني بالمملكة، وقد نتج عن الاعتداء عدد من الإصابات التي يجري العمل على حصرها.
وأوضحت الهيئة أنه تم تعليق العمليات التشغيلية في المطار مؤقتاً، لحين استكمال تقييم الأضرار والتحقق من سلامة المرافق، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، وسيتم الإعلان عن المستجدات لاحقاً.

The spokesman for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated today (Sunday) that the air defense intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile in the vicinity of King Khalid International Airport, indicating that Terminal 4 of the airport was subjected to an attack by an unknown projectile.
He pointed out that the attack resulted in a fire, and the site is currently being addressed by the relevant authorities.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced yesterday that King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was subjected to an attack amid the ongoing brazen assaults targeting civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom, resulting in several injuries that are currently being assessed.
The authority clarified that operational activities at the airport have been temporarily suspended until the damage assessment is completed and the safety of the facilities is verified, in coordination with the relevant authorities, and updates will be announced later.
