The people of Dumat al-Jandal in the Al-Jawf region bid farewell yesterday afternoon to Aroob Saud Al-Sarah, who passed away after being injured in the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, while waiting with her mother and sister for their flight back to Al-Jawf. Her sister Tala is still receiving treatment in intensive care.
Aroob’s father, Saud Manahi Al-Sarah, told “Okaz” that his 23-year-old daughter was preparing to travel from Riyadh to Al-Jawf last Saturday with her mother and her 12-year-old sister Tala, who was injured in the attack and is still receiving treatment in intensive care in Riyadh. He added, “We thank God for His decree and destiny, and we ask God to protect our country and our leadership from all harm.”
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Sarah family was preparing to celebrate the wedding of Aroob’s brother at the end of this week.
