أحبطت السلطات الأمنية في سورية مخططاً إرهابياً لاستهداف دورية للشرطة في محافظة ريف دمشق بسورية. وذكرت قوى الأمن الداخلي، اليوم (الجمعة)، وفقاً للوكالة العربية السورية للأنباء، أن جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، بالتعاون مع قوى الأمن الداخلي، وبعملية أمنية استباقية، أحبط مخططاً لاستهداف دورية للشرطة كانت خلية تابعة لتنظيم داعش الإرهابي تستعد لتنفيذه، مشيرة إلى أن العملية أسفرت عن إلقاء القبض على المتورطين، وضبط عبوة ناسفة مجهزة للتفجير كانت بحوزتهما. وتواصل الجهات المختصة تحقيقاتها مع المقبوض عليهما، لكشف ملابسات المخطط وتحديد ارتباطاته وأبعاده، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهما. وكانت قوى الأمن الداخلي أعلنت في العاشر من الشهر الجاري، وبالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، تفكيك خلية مرتبطة بتنظيم «داعش» في منطقة الحولة بريف حمص، وإحباط مخططات إرهابية كانت تستهدف دور العبادة ودوريات لقوى الأمن الداخلي.
The security authorities in Syria thwarted a terrorist plot aimed at targeting a police patrol in the Rural Damascus Governorate. The Internal Security Forces reported today (Friday), according to the Syrian Arab News Agency, that the General Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with the Internal Security Forces, carried out a preemptive security operation that foiled a plan to target a police patrol that a cell affiliated with the ISIS terrorist organization was preparing to execute. They indicated that the operation resulted in the arrest of the individuals involved and the seizure of an explosive device ready for detonation that was in their possession. The relevant authorities are continuing their investigations with the arrested individuals to uncover the details of the plot, determine its connections and implications, and take the necessary legal actions against them. The Internal Security Forces announced on the tenth of this month, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate, the dismantling of a cell linked to ISIS in the Al-Houla area of Rural Homs, and the thwarting of terrorist plots targeting places of worship and patrols of the Internal Security Forces.
